3BD Cozy Home Away From Home

This cozy 2 story townhouse is nestled in a peaceful gated community surrounded by palm trees. Perfect for a family vacation or large group trip with space to cook, board games and a community pool.

When you enter the home, you’ll find an open plan common space, featuring a kitchen with a large island & seating, a dining nook with brilliant lighting and a cozy living room with a 65” HD TV. The glass sliding doors off the living room open up to a south facing screened lanai that is filled with warm Florida sunshine from sunrise to sunset. Enjoy a hot beverage and a book to kickstart your day or turn on the fairy lights and cozy up on the papasan and share a bottle of wine with your guests after a day of activities! The kitchen is stocked with cooking and eating utensils, a coffee and tea station and cleaning supplies below the sink.

Upstairs there are 3 spacious bedrooms. The Sunshine Room is brightly decorated with an en-suite bathroom featuring his & hers sinks and a shower. Down the hallway, the Coastal Room and Evergreen Room share a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The laundry room on the second floor is stocked with laundry detergent, dryer sheets & dryer balls for your use.

For a day out, Apollo Beach is 15 mins away where you can take free yoga classes on Tuesdays and Saturdays (check “Utsava Beach Yoga” on Facebook for current start times and weather updates), check out the Manatee Viewing Center or have a beach picnic.

Experience the most magical place on earth and take a day trip to Disney World which is just an hour away. Disney World has fun filled activities for kids and adults alike, with a variety of different areas such as Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot.

Anna Maria Island is also an hour away and boasts white sand beaches, clear blue water & the best sunsets in Tampa Bay! Check out our favorite beach on the island called Manatee Beach which has public restrooms, a playground and a cafe & bar.

Do not lock the bottom handle of the front door on your way out. This handle cannot be opened from outside so you will be locked out.
Make sure the bottom corner of the dryer is closed all the way otherwise it will not turn on (this is a safety feature).

Nice and clean but needs maintenance

The house is nice but definitely needs maintenance done. Should check that everything is working or in order between guests. Dryer didn't work kept blowing the fuse box, could only use it once. Towels in one bedroom were provided to us were still wet when unfolded to use. Wasn't going to reset the fuse box every time. Freezer was leaking upon arrival almost slipped on water. front door handle is very loose looks like screws were stripped. Kitchen had the bare minimum, only 2 pans for cooking. nothing provided to use oven. Should have in listing all that is provided. Body wash soap was not provided had to go out and buy bars of soap. Sheets on bed could be updated, clean but can tell they are old. Owner was responsive when reported dryer and feeezer. Very little furniture, 6 people could not sit in the living room and relax. The house itself is nice but just needs more attention to amenities.

Our stay was fantastic, we felt at home. The beds were very comfortable and larger bedrooms. The place was very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again. Cleopatra was very friendly as well.

We traveled from Michigan for a family birthday party - the property was clean and spacious. Close to stores and restaurants. Nice place to walk in the mornings! We enjoyed our stay!

Incorrect listing

I looked for a house with 3 full bathrooms and this one showed up specifically showing all three bathrooms have showers. After checking in, I realized it only has 2 and half bathrooms. As we were very busy to go out for our scheduled programs, we thought of reporting it later. In the first night we came back, we found the AC is not at all working and the host brought the technician the next day morning and got the unit repaired. That night we found it is very hot as the host was controlling the setting from her place rather than allowing us to control to a comfortable level. Per my request the next day she changed it. Later when I asked for a discount mainly for the bath room issue, the host denied about talking about the other services provided such as supplies. The supplies were bare minimal contrary to my all other bookings for different houses. Also the early check in in early check out was a condition for even making the boking and thus had nothing to do with the inconveniences I encountered especially with the incorrect information of the bathrooms. I will never book this house

March getaway

Got to Riverview very late - but the Host said she would keep her phone on in case of any issues. We arrived, got in fine. The next 5 days we spent traveling around, with 1 day at the pool. Close to all conveniences. Lots of choices to eat out. We had a great time!
