Great service, minor issues

I recently stayed at this resort and overall, it was an amazing experience. The property is beautiful, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Check-in was smooth and effortless, which made our arrival stress-free. The only downside we experienced was the room setup. You can clearly hear your neighbors through the separator doors, which affects privacy and quietness. Additionally, the AC unit made a loud thumping noise every time it turned off, which was not pleasant at night and interrupted our sleep. Despite these minor issues, the resort itself is fantastic. With a little attention to soundproofing and AC maintenance, it would be a perfect stay. I would still recommend it for its excellent service and overall experience.

Room was clean and spacious, king size bed very comfy, mini balcony was a nice surprise, staff was excellent and attentive to every request, courtyard area was enjoyable to lounge in, making it smoke free would be nice. The layout of the hotel allowed me to feel safe walking solo for exercise at night. Fresh water daily in the lobby was appreciated. Parking lot well lit. So many nice touches and we enjoyed our 3 nights. We wanted to love it here because we travel to the area often and are looking for our go-to hotel, but there are a couple things that would prevent us from staying again. The AC is loud and would wake us up when it came on, the sofa bed mattress didn’t provide any support, the pool was too cold to enjoy, and breakfast quality and selection were mediocre. Sausage and potatoes didn’t look appealing and an oatmeal or cereal option would be nice. We enjoyed the bagels, pancakes, muffins, eggs, yogurt and apples. They are putting in a new dining area, perhaps breakfast will be different then. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, this one has great potential with a few changes. Five stars for all the staff.

Breakfast was a struggle, mostly because the hot serving trays were too small. They were frequently out of food. It was hard to find a place to sit in order to eat, so we ended up taking the food that was available to our rooms. The pool and pool area were very clean and comfortable, with plenty of lounge chairs and towels available. The room was quite clean and housekeeping cleaned/restocked items daily. The staff were very friendly and helpful! We were a little annoyed when we first arrived, because a courtesy item was missing from our room, and the hotel manager sent up bonus snacks and drinks as an apology, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, we had a lovely stay and look forward to staying at this property again. Thank you!

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and noisy. Staff at check-in wasn't very helpful or friendly. Rooms are ok. The bedroom door basically brushes against the bed and the bathroom door is very close to the toilet. The toilet and toilet seat felt small. I wouldn't stay here again.
