Residence Schuler - Apartment 'E' with sea and Mount Etna view

Appartement pour 4 personnes de 93 mÚtres carrés (1001 pieds carrés) avec un balcon de 11 mÚtres carrés (118 pieds carrés). Il est situé au rez-de-chaussée de la résidence et se compose de: 2 chambres doubles, 2 salles de bains, salon, cuisine et un grand balcon donnant sur la mer et le mont. Etna. Il est équipé d'un lave-linge, TV satellite, coffre-fort, téléphone, Wi-Fi, climatisation, chauffage, matériel de repassage, sÚche-cheveux, cafetiÚre et grille-pain.
Cet appartement et les 5 autres appartements de la Résidence Schuler qui se situaient sur une petite colline dans un quartier résidentiel de Taormina, à seulement 4 minutes à pied du centre de Corso Umberto (zone piétonne de Taormina), et à 3 minutes seulement du supermarché et du plus proche Restaurants.
Sur demande il est possible d'ajouter dans l'appartement un lit supplémentaire ou un manteau bébé.
Service de taxi également disponible sur demande depuis ou vers l'aéroport de Catane en minibus, max 5 personnes, 120,00 euros.
Informations sur le parking: À l'intĂ©rieur de la rĂ©sidence, nous avons un petit parking pour 2 voitures et sur demande un espace peut ĂȘtre rĂ©servĂ© au prix de 10 Euro par jour.
Une autre solution consiste à se garer dans le parking municipal à étages de Porta Catania, ouvert 24h / 24 et 7j / 7, juste avant l'entrée de Taormina et à 5 minutes à pied de la résidence.
En raison des routes étroites de Taormina et de notre petit parking en particulier pour les clients arrivant avec une grosse voiture, nous suggérons de choisir cette derniÚre solution.

The villa was wonderful! Spacious. Beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean and Mt Etna! You come in on ground floor and out back you are up high overlooking the town. Claudio was great. We got lost finding the place and he came to us on his vespa and directed us to the place. He was available for any questions or help.

We had a wonderful stay here! Claudio, the host, was very accommodating. The property really is 3 minutes from the closest supermarket and downtown (uphill, so you must be able to climb stairs). The apartment was spacious and the balcony had a wonderful view, as the pictures suggest. The property does list a dryer, but be aware that it is a drying rack - we washed our clothes and then hung them to dry with no problems. Also, the parking space is small, so we had the misfortune of getting a larger car (we reserved a small car, but ofc the rental agency had none left) so we just parked in the lot downtown and walked up (again, 5 minutes from the property). Driving to the property does pose challenges as if you miss a turn, you will be driving up and down hills for 10 minutes to get back to that turn, so be aware! Again, I cannot say enough nice things about Claudio; he helped us get to and from the property from the ferry despite delays and travel snafus.

Amazing location - would stay again!

We loved our week here! The apartment is very spacious, the two full bathrooms were great. Gorgeous views - loved sitting out on the balcony. Incredible location - can walk everywhere! And the host, Claudio, is so nice and easy to talk to! he helped arrange our airport transportation and was there when we arrived to show us around the place. Highly recommend!! I will stay there again if I ever go back!

Beautiful Apartment and Great Host

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is big, gorgeous views from the large balcony of Mt. Etna and the water. Claudio was a great host from the moment I selected the apartment. I asked him questions about transportation, areas outside of Taormina to also visit and more. Short walk to the grocery store and the Corso Umberto. He was very responsive and informative. I would stay here again!

Amazing Views!

We spent many an hour just looking out the sliding glass door at the view of Mt. Etna, and the bay. It is a short walk into town where you will find a grocery, places to eat, and what ever shopping you need. The apartment is beyond clean, well stocked kitchen, and newer washer. We would rent again if we found ourselves back in Taormina.

Amazing Sea and Etna views

This property sits up high in Taormina with a full service kitchen, balcony with great views of the sea and Mt Etna. A few minute walk to grocery store and Porta Cantania. Note: the walk requires going down stairs.

Wonderful Stay in Taormina

This property had amazing views and was in a good location with a short walk right into the town center. The place was very spacious, had a fully equipped kitchen and a great balcony to sit on. The host was very communicative and met us upon arrival and departure. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Best view in Taormina!

We stayed 4 nights with Claudio in Apartment E. It was spacious and very clean. Claudio greeted us upon arrival and provided a tour of the apartment, answering any and all questions. The apartment and location is exactly as described. The view from the living room and deck is simply beautiful. Sweeping views over Taormina and Naxos, the sea, and of course, Mt. Etna. Walking into town and the start of the pedestrian walkway (Corso Umberta) is very close and easy. Everyone knows Claudio so getting around and finding the apartment is easy because the taxi drivers know where it is. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely lovely views from deck, convenient location and comfortable apartment

Comfy beds, delightful owner to work with (responsive almost immediately to communications), 2 bathrooms and nice areas to spread out and be comfortable. There was a path with a few flights of steps to the main area of town, but not a bad walk. The restaurants closest to the apartment were wonderful so we didn't have to go all the way to the main part of town to eat. Enjoyed coffee each morning in the shade of the tree on the east side of the deck while overloooking the bay and Mt Etna, and then wine in the evening overlooking the lights and sunset. Breezes were delightful, we left windows open for the cool air to come through each night. Washer was great, though as with European washers, it was small and took a LOOOONG time compared to what we are used to in USA - but clothes dried nicely on the deck so a nice bonus to have. Good water pressure, lots of hot water from the solar heater on the roof. Quiet neighborhood at night. If we had wanted to cook meals at the apartment it appears any cookware we might need was there. Everything was perfect!

Clean and tidy.

The apartment was sparkling clean and Claudio was a great host. Please note that there are about 100 steep steps to get to the shops. One bathrĂČm is beside the master bedroom but the other bathroom is down the hall and behind the kitchen. The balcony is beautiful and offers a stunning view. We found the bedrooms a little stuffy as the windows open to a closed in porch and the one air conditioning unit is at one end of the apartment, in the living room. A great place to stay, though!

Taormina Stay

Before our stay Claudio was responsive to all our messages. When we arrived at our apartment Claudio greeted us and reviewed all we needed to know about the apartment. He also directed us to the supermarket and restaurants. He lives on site so he let us know he was available if we had any questions or needs. There was a phone in the apartment with his phone number near it so we could call him if we needed to talk to him. The view from the rear balcony was beautiful. We saw the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. Often had breakfast on the balcony because of this view. The apartment was very clean. It was the right size for the four adults. We had a short walk into the center of town for the supermarket, restaurants, and stores. It was convenient for us. When we left, Claudio was there to take our keys. We had a wonderful time in Taormina and really enjoyed staying at Claudio's apartment.

Lovely, Clean Apartment with Spectacular Views

We had a lovely visit to Taormina! The views from the apartment are spectacular the accommodations were very clean. Claudio was very responsive and helpful. He met us at both check-in and check-out and was very accommodating. There are a couple of items I would like to mention to help future guests. The second bathroom is not next to the second bedroom. You must go through the kitchen to access it. This was not an issue for us but I think it is good to know. The accommodations were some of the best we have experienced I just wished for more amenities. There was no soap for either shower and no coffee for the coffee maker or French press. Luckily the morning after check-in we were able to go to the market down the street and purchase some. A plus is that there is a washing machine and laundry detergent was provided so we appreciated this. In conclusion, Claudio was an excellent host and if we return to Taormina we will be a repeat guest!

Unfortunately the weather was well and truly against us then Mount Etna erupted and the airport closed we had tried to move our departure forward mainly because of the weather but we did find the apartment rather dated.. it was spotlessly clean the linen on the bed absolutely fine the towels were definitely past their sell by date
. the toaster was interesting but it did work. We had just come from a beautiful apartment in Noto so the simplicity and brown furniture, old-fashioned lighting and lack of mirrors in the bedroom was a difficult comparison. I have to add the price for five nights was virtually the same.

Spectacular scenery

Firstly Claudio was the perfect host..ensuring our every need was met and organising taxi transfers for us. The apartment has spectacular and expansive views, extending from Mt Etna to the sea and is situated in a quiet area with large and comfortable rooms with modern amenities. It is only 4-5 minute walk to the city centre where the supermarket is located. Overall, we highly recommend this property and hope to return.

Fantastic views and excellent location

My husband, aunt, and I stayed for four nights in Apartment E and it was wonderful. The rooms were spacious, the views were incredible, and Claudio is an excellent host. The property is located a short walk from a grocery store, several restaurants and cafes, and the Corso Umberto. We really enjoyed the terrace and the view of Mt. Etna.

Taormina was beautiful and the property was all it was promised

The property was so beautiful. Clean and the view was more than we could ask for. Etna was to our right and the bay was to our left. Claudio was a great host easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs. The property was up on a hill but the walk down was not an issue. It was only a short walk to town. After a full day the walk up could be a little daunting but the property and the views were well worth it. At the base of the steps was a wonderful supermarket that had anything you might need. The town is right down the street from there. Taormina is beautiful. From high end stores to small restaurants in side streets this town has it all. We took a cooking class with chef Siciliano which was great. Some of the places we ate La Bottega del Formaggio. Don’t miss this place if you love a a mixture of good meats and cheese along with some hot foods. Had my best glass of red wine here. The owners were wonderful and so welcoming. In spite of us not having a reservation they allowed us to stay and we were so glad they did. Also ate twice at IL Cyclone on Corso Umberto. Food was very good. Also take the bus to Castelmola. Beautiful little town. Had a wonderful lunch with a great view at La Taverna Dell’Etna. Can’t say enough about our stay in Taormina. It was the jewel of our trip

Taormina Escape

Taormina and the apartment we rented were delightful. The apartment is a short 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants on the Corso Umberto. Exceptionally clean with a view from the terrace that was spectacular. Claudio was also exceptional. He rescued us when our GPS sent us astray on arrival, and was very helpful in regards to parking. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering Taormina.

Wonderful view!

This property was exactly what we had hoped for. Claudio arranged for transportation to pick us up at the Catania airport and brought us directly to the door where Claudio was waiting for us. The apartment was spotlessly clean and furnished well, but the view from the patio was fabulous! Great experience but be prepared for the steep hill to walk down to the town.
