Overlooking the sea, Villa Storica Taormina impresses guests with its fantastic views. The 90 mÂČ property consists of a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi with a dedicated workspace for home office, a smart TV with streaming services, air conditioning (in the living room and in one bedroom; the other bedroom has a ceiling fan), a washing machine, and beach/pool towels. A baby cot is also available. The villa features a private outdoor area with a pool, garden, open terrace, covered terrace, balcony, barbecue, and outdoor shower.

Leider ist diese Haus eine Zumutung.Es ist dermaßen verwohnt. Fliesen in Bad und KĂŒche nicht sauber und kaputt. This is a lovely villa on a hill overlooking Taormina and the Mediterranean. The views are spectacular.The villa was comfortable, clean, and very quiet. The only drawback is that because it is on a hill, there a quite a few steps to navigate to get to and from the center of Taormina. Older folks should keep that in mind. Antonio, the host, was very helpful and put us in touch with a very reliable driver that made our stay much easier. Overall, my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and I all had a wonderful time.

DO NOT BOOK THIS VILLA. I am a seasoned traveler and have been a flight attendant for 15 years, and this is without a doubt the worst property I have ever stayed in. DO NOT LET PHOTOS OF THE VIEW FOOL YOU. Even the location is terrible as the drive is dangerous and it’s a 15 min walk down & 30 min up hill We wanted to leave immediately @ check-in but the host said to wait. Within 24 hours checked out because the property was unsafe and unlivable.The listing advertised “Air Conditioning” but this was false. Only two units existed (living room and master) — both broken at check-in. The guest bedroom, kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms had no AC at all. Inside temperatures reached 90F (32C). The host told us “not to worry, it will cool down with a fan.” We found the filters filthy, cleaned them ourselves, but the AC still did not work. The host later admitted “he didn’t know what to do” and told us: “Do as you wish. If you want to find an alternative, go ahead.”The bathroom had an overwhelming mold odor with visible black mold, including inside a light fixture. I became ill and had to seek medical care. A broken glass table with jagged edges is another hazard. With no window screens, mosquitos came in when we tried to ventilate. The home was also dirty and far below the condition shown in the photos.We attempted resolution many times w/ the host & property manager (Holidu). Holidu later confirmed the AC was broken and the listing inaccurate but still refused a refund.
