Great house but needs a lot of maintenance.
Publié le 30 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayMany issues stated in previous reviews are unresolved. Smoke alarms are missing, expired fire extinguisher, poor quality cookware, substandard furniture. The bunk bed in the basement is unusable for two people because it is not sturdy. The gas grill caught on fire because of all the residual grease and the grease tray ended up dropping out of the grill due to its poor condition. The property manager offered to bring us a new grill so hopefully the next guests won’t have this issue. Numerous other maintenance issues that did not ruin our vacation but were annoyances. Great house and great location but the house is not up to acceptable standards for this type of rental.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we're glad that you thought our home was great and that its location served you well. That said, we truly apologize for the issues you encountered that kept you from fully enjoying your stay. We shared your comments with the local manager who assured us that the smoke detectors have been installed and the fire extinguisher is up to code. Additionally. a lot of the cookware has been replaced and the owner is in the process of ordering new furniture. The bunk beds have been checked and reinforced for safety and the new grill has been installed at the home. We appreciate your feedback as we view it as an opportunity to improve and we hope to have the opportunity to better impress you on your next getaway.
