The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. My room was spotless and spacious with a king bed. Breakfast was also nice. The bus station is a 10 minute walk down the road but you need a taxi or Uber from the train station. Front desk staff were very helpful in calling and following up with the taxi. I can definitely recommend.

Facilities in the room very poor, no tea or coffee making facility. Breakfast in the morning very poor choice of cooked breakfast, only meat free sausage cooked to order, otherwise just bacon, beans and scrambled eggs. There was no bacon when I arrived so asked if there was any and told it would be a few minutes but after waiting 10 minutes and no sign of any bacon coming from the kitchen I had to settle for just beans and scrambled eggs with a bit of toast. Was booked in for 2 nights but after the first night and disastrous breakfast checked out and went elsewhere. For £110 per night would have expected tea and coffee in the room and better breakfast. Very poor value for money.

Disappointing cleanliness

Room was very nice and clean, but not the bathroom - balls of long hair wrapped around the tap and on the shower floor, dirt on the sink, it wasn't very pleasant at all.

My friend and I came for a weekend to explore the Ironbridge area and visit the museums. We were very impressed with the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and quality of the rooms and the customer service of the staff, the breakfast offering and its proximity to the 'tourist attractions' and to local places to eat. As we were only staying for 2 nights we will probably return in the Spring next year.

Good but....

This is an excellent hotel. Easy parking. Nice friendly efficient check in. The room was modern and spotlessly clean. A good selection for the continental breakfast. Be aware that there is no restaurant in this hotel but it's a very short walk to the hotel next door which has a good one. My one criticism of this hotel is the 'bar' in the evenings. Nice friendly service, but considering the high prices charged we couldn't even get a slice of lemon or lime in our drinks, which is very low class in my opinion. The area that the bar is in more resembles a children's classroom.
