Cozy 1-Bedroom in the Heart of Mountain Village

This well-appointed mountain condo is situated in the heart of the village, within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and ski lifts. Enjoy mountain views from bedroom and living room windows and overlook the tranquil pond and plaza. Our home away from home offers a gas fireplace, in-unit washer and dryer, full kitchen, and dedicated ski locker. Perfect for an active couple, with the capacity to sleep four people with a sleeper sofa and curtain divider. We hope you enjoy your stay! **Note** there is no parking on site. However, we typically have parking available at a nearby property. We strive for accuracy and transparency in our property description. We were unable to park where our host had said to park. He did respond to text and found us parking for the night. We were unable to sleep due to a party next to window till 1:30 in the morning. Trying to close window, the screen/casing was broken. Had to remove to close window. We left property with 2 nights left. Host!s response was to call the cops. Disappointed to say the least. Felt like we were unsupported. We would liket o request refund for last two nights

Disappointing Stay at "Palmyra Cozy 1-Bedroom"

We were excited for our Telluride trip and to stay at Palmyra Cozy 1-Bedroom, drawn by its great location, description, and positive reviews. Having stayed in the same building before with another host, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, this stay was a huge disappointment.The Issues:Unpleasant smell: There was a strong odor of dog urine upon arrival, making the space uncomfortable.Damaged furniture: The couch and chair were stained and shredded, far from what was advertised.Pet-related damage: Dog slobber on the windows raised cleanliness concerns.Safety issue: The front door handle was loose, creating security concerns.Communication with the Host:We contacted the host right away, but the response was slow, and no solutions were provided. We ultimately decided to leave that evening and find other accommodations, adding stress and unexpected costs to our trip.Refund Situation:VRBO support was helpful, and the host agreed to a refund if we checked out immediately, which we did. However, after leaving, the host claimed we hadn’t checked out and failed to follow through with the refund, which left us feeling misled.Final Thoughts:While the location is great, the property didn’t meet expectations and needs updates. The host was dismissive and didn’t take responsibility for the issues. Based on our experience, we can’t recommend this property, though we will definitely continue to trust VRBO for future bookings.

Fantastic Location

Such a quaint and cozy stay! Comfortable sleeping for family of 4. Easy access to lifts and convienent ski locker in lobby to make space less cluttered. Only downside was there was no parking, but a paid lot was near by. Can't wait to be back in Telluride soon!

No frills-It worked

Nice enough place. The location was perfect, close to the gondola and market. It served the purpose of a place to stay, sleep, shower, etc. Some negatives and/or lacking information. The parking for our stay was an extra $200 and that was not listed anywhere. Some improvements are needed. For example, no wash cloths, curtains did not close all the way, big holes in the couch cushions and the fireplace did not work as has been noted on multiple reviews. The place just seems outdated and needs some attention and a more involved host. I requested local attractions or “must-dos” in the area and never heard back from the host. .

Super comfy bed and very quiet

The apartment looks as described. The bed was amazingly comfortable. It was clean-ish. The tub jets were notably dirty and there was dust. We had no pillow cases or washcloths when arrived. I did reach out to the owner to let him know and we got pillow cases/wash cloths around 6pm the next day. The fireplace did not work, which was a big disappointment for my six year old and one of the main reasons we booked here. Overall, I would stay again as the location was great and quiet and the bed was comfortable.

The Bed was very comfortable and the space was adorable. Tons of fans and pillows available to meet your needs. The pet fee was a little pricy for one night and the fee was not in the information of the property, definitely ask about the fee prior to booking the property. Other wise, we were very happy with the property, two smart tvs so you can stream from your phone, pretty partial view of the mountains and a quiet building.

Its a wonderful property with all the facilities for cooking, utensils etc. A lots of comforters, humidifier etc. Few things can be improved - Fireplace was not working The Heated Pool, Jacuzzi and Hot Tub are not part of the property and you have to go to the other hotel in the front and use it for some discounted price. Its NOT free (and is not mentioned) Overall its a good property .. but for the high price, we paid - it can be better

First time to Telluride and really enjoyed it! This "Cozy 1-bedroom" was more spacious than the name implies. THe gondola between Mountain Village and Telluride allowed us to park and leave our car (Tesla) the entire stay. AND the Tesla charging station in the gondola garage was also very convenient. I would recommend the Cozy 1-bedroom to others.

Perfect location

We came in for a few days of skiing. Perfect location and property for our family of 4. Gondola is short walk and runs until midnight to be able to take it to/from town. Parking garage is close (download/use ParkMobile app) and short term parking out back is convenient for loading/unloading. We got day passes at the Peaks spa across the street (you get 50% off) and it was great. Would stay here again.

Solid Place

The place is good. Nice size for me and my two daughters. Fully sprocket kitchen is a good thing. Just across from Peaks resort and about 100 meters to center of Mountain Village. There are plenty of extra pillows and comforters. There is a balcony, but it is for standing only - small space. The view is of a small pond, parking lot, and a courtyard. Everything is close - gondola, slopes, and restaurants. My only con is the bed had hair on the sheets. Some long hair and some short hair that looked like pet hair. I had to wash the sheets before we could use the bed. There is a washer and dryer and Tide pods, so it was manageable. Overall it was a good place to stay with plenty of comforts and accessibility. I was there at Spring Break and it worked well for my family.

Slightly misleading amenities - pool, hot tub and parking are all available nearby for additional fees. Condo itself was great for 4 plus dog - well worn but well equipped & suited us just fine. Sleeper couch was comfy!! Owner was responsive same day when we needed some linens.
