Super séjour

Logement idéalement situé à moins de 3 heures de voiture de l'ensemble du territoire irlandais. Il se trouve dans un endroit trÚs calme. Le logement est parfait à tous les égards. Il est trÚs propre, dispose de toutes les commodités et est trÚs agréable à vivre. Et enfin, Margaret est une hÎte exceptionnelle, elle est discrÚte mais trÚs disponible et aux petits soins.Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Merci pour tout, Margaret.

Superbe séjour

Margaret et son mari sont des hĂŽtes prĂ©venants et discrets qui mettent tout en Ɠuvre pour le bien-ĂȘtre de leur invitĂ©s. Beaucoup de petites attentions et de renseignements pour que votre sĂ©jour soit le meilleur possible. Leur maison est idĂ©alement situĂ©e pour le pĂȘcheur que je suis mais aussi pour la visite des environs. La chambre trĂšs propre est trĂšs confortable. Je conseille vraiment ce logement et y retournerai Ă  mon prochain passage en Irlande.

My goal was to visit Castles and see the countryside!We purposely selected this place for the fact it was kinda in the middle of Ireland, from where we would make day trips. It worked wonderfully! Our other purpose was to be away from Dublin and meet what I guessed would be the true Irish. Very Close by was a fantastic Pub, and restaurant. We stayed a week here. Safety was of no concern on this trip. The people were wonderful and the food fantastic. We visited 7 castles while here, and went to the cliffs of Moher. We saved an incredible amount of money doing this ourselves versus going on tour buses. Do be aware back roads can be extremely narrow. I surely brushed the rental car against hedgerows on occasion. Rent a small narrow car for this neck of the woods. A big SUV would have been very difficult to keep on your side of the road, on backroads . Our Host Margaret was wonderfully accommodating.

Very pleasant stay

We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay. Can't recommend enough.

Wish we would have stayed here longer!!

I cannot speak highly enough of the time we spent at Margaret and Stephen’s property. They are incredible people who have put together an incredible VRBO. The Irish countryside is just so special and this area is the perfect place to stay. Margaret welcomed us and shows us our space, which included a printed list of recommendations for dozens of restaurants and activities. The room is so cozy with a perfectly sized bathroom. We loved sleeping with our half door open to let in the fresh air. If we make our way back to Ireland we will absolutely be staying here again. Cannot recommend enough!!

Gorgeous stay in a beautiful surrounding

The host is a lovely woman who tries to fulfill all your wishes. The garden of the property is a dream with lots of wild flowers. Terryglass is a nice village in walking distance with a pub where you get good food. The room is nice. When you need a location to do trips to sites in the west of Irland I can recommend this location. The nearby lake Lough Derg is perfect for water sport activities.

Paradise in Terryglass

A meat and tidy property with beautiful surroundings and garden. Megan Steve are absolutely fantastic hosts. They helped us figure out what to do and helped us in introducing ourselves down at the local pub. Meg effortlessly makes guests feel at home and well cared for. The room was one of the nicest we've found in our trip to Ireland. Even gave us a special gift of chocolates for our anniversary. Perfect in every way.

Choose this listing for my 3 night stay in Ireland 🇼đŸ‡Ș because it is centralish to Ireland, & Northern Ireland was also only a couple of hours to cross the border if you'd like. Didn't explore Terryglass, though Paddy's Pub 🍀 has a good menu & a lovely atmosphere for dining đŸœđŸ»đŸ·. Margaret was a wonderful hostess who really provided an oasis 🌟 of peaceful comfort. ✌ The weather wasn't good in mid October 🌬🌧, and I would have liked one dry, nice day or evening to sit in the garden area. Hope you can have the time & the weather to do so. If you've read the listing you'll know there is no wifi đŸš«đŸ“¶ & no television đŸ“ș in the lodging. Most people have data, so the wifi wouldn't be an issue. A nice stack of books is available, a welcoming tray of fruits 🍎, coffee☕ , tea đŸ”, and even cookies đŸȘ which were all enjoyed. The bed 🛌 was very comfy, as was the couch 🛋. Bedding was good, there was a nice throw blanket for the couch, & she even offered a hot water bottle đŸ¶ which was nice to warm up my feet. The shower 🚿 had a good flow with ample hot đŸ”„ water💧. There was body wash, shampoo, and small hotel type adds in the bathroom. Again, a place of small joys. There was a water heater, french press, & mugs for the tea and coffee. Found a great blow dryer that didn't need an outlet adapter. Door is a cool split style to open the top half if you'd like. Good parking & two nightstands if you feel like unpacking a bit . Fresh 💐 were appreciated. #shelivesontheroad

Super lovely

We had the best time. Margaret is super nice and thoughtful and we felt like home. The area is exceptionally beautiful and we had a blast exploring the nature and watching the sweet cows next door. Great Tranquil Getaway

The perfect spot down a beautiful country road. We stayed there for a family reunion in Terryglass and Mags and her husband were so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. Loved how quiet the setting was off the beautiful garden while being just a nice stroll away from the pub/restaurant in Terryglass.

Lovely location and area for a weekend away

Had a lovely two day stay at the property while we attended a family wedding in Terryglass. Margaret was very helpful and the room was very comfortable. Really liked the guide booklet left for guests -lots of ideas and places to visit in the locality.
