Choose this listing for my 3 night stay in Ireland đźđȘ because it is centralish to Ireland, & Northern Ireland was also only a couple of hours to cross the border if you'd like. Didn't explore Terryglass, though Paddy's Pub đ has a good menu & a lovely atmosphere for dining đœđ»đ·.
Margaret was a wonderful hostess who really provided an oasis đ of peaceful comfort. âïž The weather wasn't good in mid October đŹđ§, and I would have liked one dry, nice day or evening to sit in the garden area. Hope you can have the time & the weather to do so.
If you've read the listing you'll know there is no wifi đ«đ¶ & no television đș in the lodging. Most people have data, so the wifi wouldn't be an issue. A nice stack of books is available, a welcoming tray of fruits đ, coffeeâïž , tea đ”, and even cookies đȘ which were all enjoyed.
The bed đ was very comfy, as was the couch đ. Bedding was good, there was a nice throw blanket for the couch, & she even offered a hot water bottle đ¶ which was nice to warm up my feet. The shower đż had a good flow with ample hot đ„ waterđ§. There was body wash, shampoo, and small hotel type adds in the bathroom. Again, a place of small joys.
There was a water heater, french press, & mugs for the tea and coffee. Found a great blow dryer that didn't need an outlet adapter.
Door is a cool split style to open the top half if you'd like. Good parking & two nightstands if you feel like unpacking a bit .
Fresh đ were appreciated. #shelivesontheroad
