Situated in the exclusive residential area of Los Mojones, this magnificent seven bedroom villa offers the best of both worlds, the tranquillity of a countryside retreat and only a short ten minute walk to the bustling centre of Puerto del Carmen with its many beaches, restaurants, bars and shops.

La Luna is just 11 km from Lanzarote (ACE) airport and is located in a quiet and private residential area.

The fantastic Biosfera Plaza is less than 10 minutes walk from the villa, this is a fantastic modern shopping centre which is also home to the only open air cinema on the island.

Casa de la Luna translates in English to ‘House of the moon’ which perfectly describes this wonderful property. On a moonlit night the genesis of the name becomes evident.

The house is built in a semi circle around a central courtyard in typical Spanish ‘Finca’ style. It is entered through large double doors which lead directly into the open courtyard. The finca consists of three separate buildings linked by a wraparound pergola. Most of the bedrooms have French doors leading directly to the private courtyard, garden and large heated swimming pool. In order to take advantage of the warm climate, the secluded and totally private courtyard is furnished under the pergola to allow for outdoor living, whether it is al fresco dining, grilling, soaking in the jacuzzi or simply relaxing in the evenings on the comfortable sofas.

The property has been recently renovated sparing no expense to deliver the very latest of modern interior design while still retaining the rustic charm of the original building.

Accommodation

There are five double bedrooms and two twin rooms. The villa is divided into three separate buildings. The main house contains the fully fitted kitchen, utility, living room, master en suite bedroom and dressing room and one other double en suite bedroom. There are another two bedrooms in the second building, one double and one twin with a shared bathroom. Across the courtyard, the third building consists of a second master en suite bedroom and two further bedrooms, one double and one twin with a shared bathroom. The main house is tastefully decorated in rustic Spanish style with natural terracotta tiles, open stone fireplace and wooden beams. Then, in contrast, the other two buildings have a more modern airy interior.

Getting around
Within walking distance from the Villa you will find supermarkets, shops, restaurants, tapas bars, local bakery, and a taxi rank. Villa La Luna is also just a short walk from the spectacular 5 km of golden beaches at Puerto Del Carmen with its palm trees and rocky divides. The picturesque fishing port of the Old Town is close by, a favourite spot to enjoy the local wine or sample one of the many excellent seafood restaurants.
