Located just ten minutes east of Opotiki, in Tirohanga, this three bedroom beach bach epitomises easy holiday living. Up high on the section, the home overlooks the Motu trail, which takes you west into town or east along the beach. Your eyes are drawn to the enticing sea, directly in front of you and the views of the coastline; west towards Whakatane/Tauranga and right, all the way down the coast. Whakaari/White Island claims centre stage, whilst Moutohora/Whale Island rests majestically to the left.
The house itself, has a wonderful upstairs balcony for day time sea breezes to caress your skin as you sit and read, or listen to music. The downstairs area has a covered outdoor seating area and is a great place to shelter when it’s too hot or raining, but want to remain outside. The third bedroom is also located downstairs, with a toilet and laundry. There is no internal access from downstairs to upstairs.
Upstairs there’s a well-appointed kitchen, with stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The lounge has a relaxed open plan vibe. Master bedroom is off the lounge and the rear bunk room has plenty of room for the kids. Separate toilet, shower and vanity all located upstairs.

Tirohanga is a peaceful beachside settlement just ten minutes from Ōpōtiki, with a handy general store and takeaway beside the motor camp.

The property has direct beach access — please stick to the trail provided, which leads you safely to the beach.
Opotiki District Council operates a zero-waste policy. Guests are required to remove their rubbish at the conclusion of their stay and drop off at the Resource Recovery Centre, 38 Wellington Street, Opotiki.
