We probably had the best view in the hotel of the harbour and Meare's Island. An idyllic setting. We were able to leave our car parked at the hotel and walk to all the shops, restaurants and the water taxis & seaplanes. The room was a little pricey but there is high demand in Tofino and not many places to stay.

Overpriced.

The price is outrageous for all motels in the area. The bottom unit gets noisy with people or pets above. No A/C in the unit, but there was a table fan. The bathtub is tiny.

This motel is definitely a little expensive, but there’s not a lot to choose from, . . nevertheless, Tofino in August is not a budget experience, . . so, get a room, if you can, and make sure you plan ahead, to get maximum value for your visit. The Tofino Harbourview is clean, friendly, and offers a great location to explore the shops and restaurants in this community.

Start with the good. Staff were friendly, and let us check in early. The hotel is very old and dated. Needs major renovations. Rooms were updated however furniture is very old. NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! Room was very hot. Beds are newer and were comfortable. Room amenities are terrible. One plug by beds, no good for CPAP or charging devices. No ironing board, iron or closet. They are charging $560.00 CAD a night for this room, which is ridiculous. Anywhere else this would be a $99.00 room. Way way way overpriced for what you will get. Then again, Tofino is a resort town and everything is very expensive here……..now you know!

Beautiful room with great view of harbour and gardens. An enchanting retreat in the heart of Tofino. Very clean and well appointed. Very helpful staff. Fantastic!

We had a fantastic stay at the Tofino motel. We travelled with children and plenty of space for all of us. Love the balcony to sit outside to have breakfast. and for a beautiful view. Loved being able to open the window for natural air. The refreigerator and microwave with cereal Bowls and cutlery were nice addition. Lots of restaurants, grocery store, ice cream Shop and coffee place to walk too. We didn’t need to use our car at all as it is centrally located!

Good: room was clean Bad: carpet and furnishings worn, need lumpy and moss noise when you rolled over, no drapes on kitchen window so sun came streaming in, bathroom also had no blinds and outside light let it up at night like daytime. Conclusion: not a comfortable stay. Was way overpriced for the condition.
