The location is fantastic. However, I did have an issue contacting the hotel over phone. In short, if you don't speak Japanese, whoever answered the call just hangs up. I had called many times over different days.

This hotel is close to Shinjuku bars and restaurants, well connected to Shinjuku station, and lots of nice restaurants are on the hotel site and close by. We also enjoyed Restaurant Parks on levels 12, 13, and 14 in the Hands Dept store only a short walk away. Our room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. We took a taxi from Haneda Airport to the hotel for AU$106.00, which we thought was great value. It was also easy to reach key tourist attractions from this hotel.

The hotel is very close to South exit of Shinjuku station and so it is in close proximity to a number of shops, attractions, restaurants and major transit hub. The view from the room is awesome looking over quite a number of Tokyo sites/buildings. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a great option for a first trip to Tokyo. It is extremely central in Shinjuku by the train station, but also in a quiet pocket away from the hectic crowds. Service and breakfast are good. Many restaurants nearby with Japanese and Western options as you get over the jetlag.
