Don't stain the sheets.

Very small, very steep stairway. Okay position. Near Opera; one stop from Shinjuku Station; only one sink i.e. the kitchen, washing machine but no dryer. Had a decibel metre in the house checking for noise. All manageable but then got a note to say that we had 'stained' the pillow case. Got sent pictures and a bill for extra cleaning. As far as I can tell, it was some mascara off my make-up which should come out in a wash and, given they're white sheets, a bleach. Thank heavens we hadn't stained them with anything else!
