World-class hotel in the heart of Tokyo

Luxury accomodations, city/park views, delicious dining, premium spa/gym/pool amenities and, most memorably, 5-star service throughout our stay. We brought a family of four to cheer my wife through her sixth world major marathon and the Palace Hotel provided a welcoming and comfortable home during our stay. This was one of the best experiences we've had anywhere in the world. The attention to detail and care demonstrated throughout our stay was an incredible way of experiencing Japanese culture. Highly-recommended without hesitation.

I like a very quiet, clean, good nick hotel. This hotel clearly fits. I was pretty jet lagged and didn't appreciate someone banging on the door for turndown service right after I got to sleep. There was a do not disturb button I couldn't see in the dark but it worked once I found it. The Japanese restaurants were probably good but I couldn't get a reservation when I wanted and probably looked too shabby to get in without one. I'm pretty much a peasant and look like one. Next time I'll go back to the imperial. Rather than so much staff on the ground floor, I appreciated their floor ladies with whom I could more easily/personally interface. Not to dis the palace staff, they were all very nice and perfectly groomed, just all clustered on the ground floor. Views of the palace grounds were not to be beat and the room HVAC was perfect and quiet. Since I am a birdwatcher, proximity to the palace grounds was wonderful. Also nice having a metro station in the basement along with a 7/11. Easy walk to Tokyo station. There's an apothecary in a nearby building.

We enjoyed everything about the stay: The fitness center and the spa are of top quality and very clean. The breakfast buffet has a variety of food and beverage options. Most importantly, the service was exceptional throughout our stay. We would recommend the Palace Hotel to our friends.

Awesome and impressive experience

Impressive experience. The room has more than everything than we need. Very generous in providing tea/coffee/water and all the toilettes. Staff communicated with each other very well and follow up on our request. The best hotel experience I ever have.
