The hotel just opened in March, so it is very fresh. The rooms are super quiet. They are a little small, but normal for Tokyo. Each room has a washer/dryer unit, so you can travel light. Breakfast was great. The staff is so attentive and polite. I will return.

Great place for a family of 4. Room was big, staff extremely friendly, breakfast was lovely. Across the street from the Ebisu station so very convenient to get around the city. The family room has two twin beds and a double bed pullout couch that the staff made up before we even got to the room. Blackout curtains made for a great night sleep!

This hotel was very welcoming and so clean (it just opened at the time of this review). Upon check-in we were greeted by very friendly staff and were offered tea and coffee while checking in. The room was very clean and nice. Only concern was there was no iron or steamer in the room, but I imagine you can ask the hotel to provide one at check-in. Otherwise I would highly recommend! Location is right across from Ebisu station which is one stop away from Shibuya (7 min train ride).

I had a pleasant stay at Ebisu hotel, first of all the property is new renovation. The room size is standard for Japan hotel. We stay in deluxe twin which amazingly able to fit washing machine, refrigerator, microwave and food prep area + sink. Our bathroom has a bath tub and shower area The front desk staffs are very attentive. Thank you to Yuki and Royce who were able to help me translate English on the phone because I had a problem with the other hotel reservations. I am so grateful. I did not do try to hotel breakfast due to our schedule but everything look really good There is no full service housekeeping but the hotel will refresh towels and empty trash if you put the sign outside the room. But that’s all we really needed. The location is great 3 mins walk from Ebisu station, so close that we can see the station from our hotel There are some small amenities facial cleanser, face lotion, come razor disposable washcloth at the lobby area. I would definitely come back

This property feels noticeably more elevated than other Tokyu Stay locations I’ve stayed at, and it shows from the moment you walk in. The hotel is fairly new, and the room finishings reflect that, dark wood accents, especially in the bathroom and shower, give it a warmth and sophistication you don’t always get at this price point. Everything was spotless, the bed was genuinely comfortable, and the AC was so effective I had to turn it off after a f to avoid freezing — a very welcome problem after a long day slogging around Tokyo in the heat. Check-in was seamless, and the welcome drink (coffee or tea) was a small but thoughtful touch that goes a long way after a long flight. But the real star here is the location. Sitting right across from Ebisu Station with quick access to Shibuya and Shinjuku, you truly could not ask for a better base. Ebisu has serious nightlife energy — every night the sidewalks fill up with people out on the town, great bars around every corner, and a 24-hour Yoshinoya steps away for when you need to refuel (get the yakiniku meal set — you’ll thank me later). Come morning, decompress with a leisurely walk through Daikanyama or make the easy 15-minute stroll to Nakameguro. This neighborhood has it all, day and night. And when you’re ready to elevate the evening, Yebisu Garden Place is just a short walk away — grab prime rib at Lawry’s, a steak at Peter Luger’s, or cap the night with live jazz at Blue Note Tokyo. I booked this property for my first trip to Tokyo. My family and I had an amazing stay at Tokyu Stay Shibuya Ebisu! The property is beautiful, and the Ebisu train station is only a two minute walk away. This is great since it is a part of the Yamanote line. There is an alley around the corner containing so many restaurants, bars, and even a FamilyMart. We arrived early morning the first day, and the staff were more than willing to store our luggage until it was time to check-in. When we did check-in, they were kind enough to already have our luggage waiting for us in our room. Our room came with a washer/dryer, dining area and kitchenette. They provide pajamas and slippers. They do provide laundry detergent, but I found that it might be easier to buy some laundry materials at the general store next door. The shower room was adorned with Refa products (if you know, you know.) In the lobby, there is an amenities area that is free for the guests to grab. They even left complimentary vanilla ice cream in our refrigerator that could be paired with their local beer if you were to take it down to the bar for free. The kitchenette in the room was so handy because my family and I would often grab snacks from the nearby convenience stores. I would definitely stay here again. My family was super happy with booking with Tokyu Stay.

I’ve been to Japan 5 times and stayed in many hotels, but this was by far the most expensive and smallest room I’ve had. My friend and I booked a Superior Queen (we couldn’t afford a twin) and were disappointed. While the Shibuya location—right across from the station—is excellent, it feels like the cost went into aesthetics rather than practicality. The room has nice fixtures, a large Sony TV, a great mattress, and excellent pillows (though we couldn't get extra pillows), but it’s poorly designed for travelers. There are no proper hooks or racks for towels or clothes, and when we asked for a luggage rack, they sent someone to our room to tell us to store our suitcases under the bed. The shower had great pressure but a fully transparent door, making it impossible to use other bathroom facilities privately. Lighting was also too dim for tasks like makeup, and there was no portable mirror. Amenities were minimal: cups and a kettle were provided, but no tea or coffee unless requested—and even then, not included. Cleaning costs extra (though towels can be refreshed), which feels unreasonable at this price. The biggest issue was service. Staff were often unresponsive or overwhelmed (one time they were arguing in Japanese for about 10 minutes before acknowledging us, and we were the only customers), and most requests for basic amenities were denied. The only positive service experience was during checkout, when luggage storage was handled kindly.
