We were the first guests to stay at this property and honestly it didnât seem like it in some ways. There was a thick layer of dust on a lot of things. There were no coffee mugs or cereal bowls, no vegetable peeler, and no can opener (no big deal but should be mentioned- especially if you make coffee in the morning). The towels seemed fresh and new, and mini toiletries were provided which was nice. But when we stripped the bedding per check out instructions, there were quite large and noticeable stains on one of the twin mattresses and at least two pillows. The pool was extremely cloudy, to the point that the kids couldnât use any sinking toys because theyâd be lost. There was also A LOT of old dead leaves at the bottom of the pool. There is no grill or fire pit on the property.The house itself was very interesting to explore and has a unique layout, witch old wood detail throughout. It should be noted that the stairs leading to the back of the house and to the pool are extremely highly and dangerous for kids, so use caution there. We did have a feeling of âthey tried.â They had fresh fruit delivered to us our first night, which we thought was sweet. There were cute touches throughout the home. But overall, we felt like there wasnât a lot of effort in cleanliness for us being the very first guests on the property.
