The door code didn't work, but customer service was very responsive and the issue was resolved within minutes of reaching out. House was clean, cute, lake view was relaxing in the mornings. It is the first cabin on the street with a steep gravel driveway. Would defn book again!
we booked this place for a wedding our friend was having nearby - itâs a two-minute walk from the wedding venue, and you can hike 40 mins to a nearby cafe on the water!! this was good for the cost and provided us with the basics - electricity, water, and wifi. iâd say the only real con was obviously that cell service is nonexistent in this area, and the fridge would not close so we had to put the trash can in front to keep it closed. other than that, i highly recommend this place and overall we loved our stay!! if you have to attend a wedding nearby, this place is perfect!!
Has all the necessities plus some. Very remote location with limited cell service and wifi. Curvy, mountain roads with limited visibility especially at night. Beautiful lake. Nice weekend get away. Easy check out process except we had problems with trash disposal. Check out instructions require all trash to be taken to local landfill. But the landfill is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This was not mentioned in the check out instructions and left us scrambling to dispose of our garbage bags with no cell service. Our only other complaint is that the house was very moist/damp and could benefit from a dehumidifier during the warmer months. Overall we had a good stay and it served its purpose for our stay.
No WiFi. The refrigerator door did not shut properly. A communication cable was ran through a window, so the window could not completely close which allowed bugs in. The outlets in the bathroom did not work. There were no curtains/window coverings in the bedroom. There wasnât any place to hang clothes. My husband had to sweep the deck when we got there.
The location was great but I felt REALLY uncomfortable not having blinds or curtains on the bedroom windows. Not having wifi or much cell service made the messages from the host pretty useless. It would have been nice if there had been a sign about checkout for folks anxious there maybe were misremembering the checkout instructions
Great property for a really off the grid vacation. A little too off the grid for me but I booked in a hurry and the owner did say no wifi. There's also no cell service, so you have to drive to a nearby cafe to communicate.
No water and no cellphone reception and no Internet
I could not cook or use the bathroom or wash the dishes or drink water. I did not have Internet available or cell reception to contact anyone about the problem.
