We loved our stay with you. The hotel was so well kept and so clean everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and airy. I like the touch of water provided each day and the small packets of biscuits. We loved sun bathing by the swimming pool ,but some of the sunbeds could do with a good clean, which only takes seconds with a pressure washer. We wished we had a longer stay, but we work for several charities and don't have much free time to ourselves. My only complaint is the rather strange Restaurant Menu; lamb dumplings and pork chop marinated in Harissa ,Greek chicken gyros !. We are in Torquay ,not Athens ! Several guests were complaining to each other, as not happy with the menu ,not what you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. We hope to return soon for another relaxing break. please put us down on the list for any special offers etc.

The Osborne hotel is beautifully positioned on what feels like cots own private bay, away from the busier parts of Torquay. It has lovely views, good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. We really enjoyed our three nights.

Lovely family friendly traditional English hotel.

Very nice older/traditional style hotel in a lovely position. Outdoor pool was perfect for the kids. Good walking distance into Torquay also - kids managed it fine, twice there and back! Great size family room. Would recommend.

Great location

The Osborne Hotel is in a beautiful location, right on the coast. Our hotel room was extremely clean and very comfy. The only downside was that early in the morning there seem to be doors banging, we’re not sure if it was because we were situated above what we thought was the gym/pool area or something else, although it wasn’t a major problem, it was slightly annoying. The breakfast was good as was the service. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It was great, we were very happy with the room. However I had a bit of a ladys emergency during our stay. I checked all the rest rooms to see if you had a machine to buy sanitary products, there were none available. I plucked up the courage to ask the lady on reception, she explained that they had sanitary products in the establishment, but they were for staff only, I was pretty desperate by this point and being a women herself I thought she would have understood how desperate I was. This meant that I had to get my children out of the pool to go and find a shop to get myself some sanitary products. This didn’t really effect our stay, but I would have rather her of lied and said they didn’t have any, it was very unhelpful to my situation if I’m honest.

Wow!

We had a beautiful room with a beautiful view. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel at home. The hotel turned our trip away into a great trip away and we will certainly book again next time we go to Torquay.
