Overall our stay at the Inn was very good, the Inn is conveniently located just outside the town of Kent in the center of the Litchfield Hills Region of Northwestern Connecticut. Beautiful area, lots to see and do. Enjoyed an excellent complementary continental breakfast buffet each morning. There is a slightly irregular outside stairway to a couple of upper level rooms which might require a little extra caution

Overall, I was disappointed with my stay. Neither WiFi network worked and cell service was terrible in the area. Shower pressure was way too high. The room was pretty clean, but seeing a collection of bugs in the bathroom light as well as dust on the air conditioner was a bit of a turn-off.

We loved our stay at the Cornwall Inn. The staff was excellent and always ready to be of help. However, there were two problems: in the entryway between the buffet breakfast area and the sign-in area I fell on the raised area of the floor (I was not hurt). We asked that the area be marked, and it was immediately, But perhaps something more permanent should be done to prevent any further falls. Secondly, the stairs up to Lodge 7 were very difficult to navigate. Anything you could do to make them smoother and the handrails better would really be a help.
