Beautiful retreat. A must if you are headed south of St.John's. Beautiful cottages with amazing views and a fantastic restaurant on site.

Lovely property with terrific view. Room had balcony with the famous red Adirondack chairs, full kitchen. Unfortunately, the front desk is only sporadically staffed and the email we were told contained wifi password and details about after hours entry to building did not arrive, nor was this info provided via Expedia. We were never lucky enough to be at the hotel when staff was available, so some confusion there.

Great location! Love that there is a restaurant on site. Room is clean and decorated nicely. Love the electric fireplace and the use of the Sauna outside for all guests. Rooms are quiet at night for sleeping with an extremely comfortable bed. Coffeemaker / fridge and microwave in room. Would stay again.

The property at Cliff's Edge was absolutely amazing. Our cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, and the view was stunning! Only small downfall, the map of the property at the front desk needs improving.

Location of this property is amazing, with a private patio, spa & sauna + a breathtaking view of Witless Bay. Bright, clean and comfortable living space. Great restaurants nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it! Only downside was communication: staff on site were quick to respond to an issue, but responsiveness over text (which is their suggested means of communication) is slow and inconsistent. Not a huge issue for us, but it would have made our experience seamless.

The little restaurant was nice with friendly staff and a great view, but the menu selection was limited and a but pricey for the amount of food you receive. Was gard to find, as the address on the website was not the same as where it actually was located.

Amazing Ocean front getaway!

What an amazing Stay. Arrived extremely late and was able to use their wifi (no password needed) to gain access to my code to open the door and was surprised by how amazing the room was. We could see the moon shining off of the ocean.

The place itself is very nice and the rooms are modern and well equipped. Unfortunately the advertising is a bit misleading. Most of the photos show rooms with hot tubs and a great view. Unfortunately those are cabins and should be clearly labeled as such. The room we got had no veiw and no hot tub. There is a shared sauna but no hot tub shared or otherwise. This was a disappointing to walk into, when one expecting a view. This needs to be clarified when one is booking a room.

My friends and I stayed here for our 30th birthdays. This what we liked: The cozy robes, the amazing view (we saw a whale!!), the outdoor seating, the hot tub, the restaurant (cod and oysters were sooo good), comfortable beds, the peace and quiet, the gorgeous bathrooms, the nice soaps, and our server girlypop Hannah (she had great recommendations for us on places we could swim and eat- thanks girl!!) This is what we wished for next time: A more welcoming welcome when we arrived, binoculars in the room, a cushion for the outdoor seating, a foot rest or table for the deck, earlier check in times, less threatening vibes re the many many policies. Overall we had a fab time and would LOVE to return again. 😊

Property was clean and food was excellent however was pricey … we were mislead by the advertising we were supposed to get ocean view and shared spa and got neither . Rather a view of the parking lot. We were not greeted upon arrival. The girls at the restaurant were very nice and hospitable. Bed was very comfortable.
