I made a reservation for a room w/ 2 beds; we were given a room w/ a king bed. I called front desk to ask if we could switch rooms. I was told no. Within 4 minutes, the front desk agent knocked on the room door to tell me I was in the wrong room. So we changed rooms. I took a shower and then the water wouldn't turn off. I called the front desk. The front desk agent called and she couldn't turn off the shower either. I asked if I could have a refund on the room if I were to check out because the shower wouldn't turn off. She laughed and said No, that she would have the shower fixed. We waited 45 minutes and she came back with someone on the phone who wanted pictures of the shower handle to prove it wouldn't turn. Again, I offered to check out and asked nicely if I could have a refund. Again she said no. I handed her my room key and told her I was checking out. The shower was still running - and by this time had been running for an hour after I got out of the shower. The room was foggy from the hot water in the shower. I'll be asking for a refund.

We had a wonderful time at the Best Western in Townsend, TN. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The dining area and suite were very clean. We were hoping to use the fireplace, but I guess the gas had been turned off since it was May. We will definitely stay there again.

Really happy with this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I withheld one star over all because there was not a lot of hot water. This was late evening tho. It seemed better in the mornings. The Staff and breakfast were really great.

Stayed at this location multiple times over the years. Room was clean and comfy. Enjoyed the selection of hot breakfast items - sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy. Staff was very friendly.

I decided to stay an extra day and asked the person on duty about vacancy and she told me there were no rooms available, so I go up to my room and check online and was able to book a room online. Why did she lie to me about not having vacancy? And then they called my room early the next morning and got me up wanting to know if I had another reservation for that day and appeared to be upset that I had gone around them in booking another reservation without their knowledge!

The water was brown when we got there and took longer than 35 min. to heat up. It took over 35 minutes to run it through. The tub didn't drain well at all. These issues shouldn't be solved on arrival of guest. They should be customer ready.

Convenient location to the National Park

The staff was efficient and friendly. The room was clean and the area quiet. The hotel is located within a few miles of the National Park's entrance and within a reasonable driving distance of Cades Cove.

The management people are very nice . They take pride in keeping the place clean and running well . The breakfast had nice options , with hot cooked items ,and they kept it well stocked . Was nice and quiet ,and conveniently located to the bike path and cades cove, as well as restaurants . We enjoyed our stay .
