Great place to stay. It was mostly cruise people from Princess. Considering where it is located it is pretty awesome place. It is essentially at the base of Denali. Great place for s chance to see Denali not covered by clouds. Great staff and good food. I would stay here again.

Beautiful location just outside the park. It is just about 2.5 hours to the national park welcome center from the lodge. We only saw one other nice hotel that might have been closer to the park. (I think it was near the train drop off). Food choices are some what limited but there are 3 places so you can pick from.

We enjoyed our stay on the beautiful grounds of the McKinley Wilderness Princess Lodge. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The lodge building and fire pit area were both warm and welcoming. We ate in both restaurants, and while the meals were good to very good, they weren't top quality. Overall it was a great experience!

The views of Denali were amazing! Also liked the outdoor seating areas, especially the fire pit seating and s’ mores. Unique and fun. Also the talk and video presentation by Lisa Roderick was one of the highlights of our trip! Phenomenal!! (Except for the few rude audience members who wouldn’t stop talking!)

If you want a hotel/resort with kids serving you, mediocre food quality, no wifi in your room and a 100 yard walk from your parked car (with your luggage in tow) to your building/rooom....then this is the place for you! It's covered with buses from the cruise lines and tons of people. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful but very remote location. Far from everything. If you are not a cruise person/ going on the Princess cruise this may not be the place for you. You park far from your building and there is no elevator. There is no microwave or fridge in the room. Nowhere to grab a quick coffee. The restaurants are extremely busy. The tree house is really cute.
