Nestled just across the road from the crystal-clear waters of Torch Lake, this inviting home is the perfect setting for a memorable family getaway. With two public lake and sandbar access points less than a 3-minute walk away, you’ll have easy access to one of Michigan’s most beautiful destinations. You’re also just minutes from the charming shops and restaurants of downtown Alden (2.3 miles) and a short drive to Elk Rapids (13 miles).

Inside, the home is thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection. The fully equipped kitchen—complete with stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave—makes it easy to prepare meals, while the adjacent dining area comfortably seats up to nine, perfect for gathering together. A convenient laundry room with washer and dryer is also available.

The main level features a spacious master suite tucked at the back of the house, offering a king-sized bed, TV, walk-in closet, and private bathroom. A second bedroom includes a cozy twin-over-full bunk bed and closet, with a nearby half bath. At the front of the home, the living room serves as a warm and inviting gathering space for relaxing and spending time together, while the covered porch offers peaceful glimpses of Torch Lake through the trees.

Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms, a full bath, and a convenient kitchenette with a compact fridge, microwave, and coffee maker—perfect for added privacy or extended family stays. Both upstairs bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds—one with serene wooded views and a 42” smart TV, and the other offering glimpses of Torch Lake along with a cozy reading nook.

The spacious four-car garage has been thoughtfully converted into a fun-filled game room, featuring a pool table, ping pong table, and two picnic tables—creating the perfect spot for family gatherings, friendly competition, and making lasting memories together.

Excellent location and very well stocked with everything needed for an exceptional stay. Loved the fire pit area! The only downsides were the two sofas in the living room which need to have cushions re-stuffed or replaced and the lack of a private access to the beautiful Torch Lake. The house was very clean.

Great Stay

The home is really nice and we had a good amount of space for our families, 4 teens and 4 adults. Kitchen has everything we needed, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and washer/dryer worked well. The garage was great for games and the front porch and backyard fire pit gave us space to enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed our week at Torch Lake.

Great family vacation!

Perfect home for a family vacation. Location across the street from Torch Lake was convenient and access to pontoon boat rental was a plus. Owners were friendly and responsive to any issues that we encountered. The home was near several towns, beaches and parks. Would highly recommend for families with children. Great experience overall.

Torch lake cabin

The place was perfect for us. Lots of kitchen ware and great beds. We had a whole family reunion and on our night the garage and fire pit worked out perfectly. The location was excellent we went to Traverse City and Charlevoix.both about 35 m. We plan on going back.

First time renting a vacation home and my experience was amazing. The weather did not cooperate with our stay but everything else did. We had a wonderful time at this house. Everything we needed was provided including some starter s’mores ingredients. House and property were a beautiful area that let us explore many nearby cities. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the lake the most. Thank you!

Mom and grown sons relaxation week

I can’t say enough about Torch Lake, or this property! Beautifully clean and organized, pretty much everything you need is already here: beach towels, floats, even bug spray. The frog pond and campfire circle are ridiculously relaxing to sit aside. Owners just across the street, too! Great experience. 10/10

Great introduction to Torch Lake

The property was 99% perfection. The house was clean and spacious. Bathroom, kitchen and living room space was perfect for the 8 guests we had. The pool and ping pong really added to our family experience along with the perfect fire pit in the back yard with really gave it a camping feel. Location was ideal near the Village Market and town of Alden. The only way it could have better was if it was right on Torch Lake, thus the 99%. But for the price, the property was ideal. Loved it.

All your needs met

This house has everything you need. Plenty of space and activities to keep you busy. We enjoyed the firepit, garage games and hiking trails! She has supplied everything you need for kitchen neccessities. Everything is labeled and very organized down to a first aid kit and emergency supplies. Our only complaint is the road is fairly busy and loud which was unexpected. But that’s really the only complaint.

Anja had a beautiful home. Plenty of space and garage is massive! She had a nice note welcoming us with stuff for s’mores to enjoy when having a fire. Plenty of wood was there for us to use. We recommend!

An excellent choice for our four-generation family vacation!

Our four-generation family stayed at this wonderful cabin and we absolutely loved it! It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Must see in person, the pictures just don't do it justice! The garage playroom was a godsend with our 2 year old granddaughter and 12 year old grandson! When the weather was a bit inclement, they had a space to burn off all of their energy! The hosts were absolutely awesome and responded to any questions we had so quickly. I raved about our stay to friends and now they're going to book this gem too!

Girls trip

Thank you Anja for being an amazing host. The home was beautiful and clean. It was the perfect place for our annual girls trip. The front porch was a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the Torch lake views. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and catching up. The link to pontoon rental was an awesome bonus. Definitely one of our top vacations thus far.

“The misfit’s” group of 8 friends loved this place!!!
