This luxurious private cabin is nestled in the woods on the shore of a private pond. Minutes from Oglebay Park and close to the city of Wheeling - you can choose privacy and a unique experience.
This well-appointed cabin is accessible by a gravel drive, but features electricity, plumbing, hot water, comfy mattresses, wood-burning stove, refrigerator, and coffee-maker.
*WINTER WEATHER* There is a gravel road to the cabin which is not cleared of snow. Only book in the winter if you have a vehicle capable of driving in multiple inches of snow.
Wake to the sunlight and birdsongs, walk the trails, browse the library, and eat dinner cooked over the fire.
This cabin features a lofted master bedroom, a queen bedroom downstairs and a third bedroom with bunkbeds, bathroom, living room, kitchen, and lovely porch. The pond has a dock, boat, two kayaks, and is filled with bluegill, carp, bass, and catfish. Note that the loft is accessed by ladder. Children will require *close supervision* as would always be the case around a ladder.
GUESTS PLEASE NOTE: There is a steep gravel road to the cabin. While during good weather conditions, this road can be traversed by smaller cars, we strongly advise guests to use a 4WD or AWD vehicle with some ground clearance. You don't want to get stuck!
