Good place to stay

The hotel was nice and lots of unique antique cars and equipment on display in front and around. The desk staff were not super inviting and it seemed like they were just there going through the motions. The room was very comfortable and it was quiet.

Super family and pet friendly. I loved the indoor pool for the kids and the doggy area for our fur child. Breakfast was pretty good and a large variety. Our room was right next to the ice machine and elevator but it was quiet. My only negative was the smell in our bathroom. It smelled like moldy towels. But the towels were clean so I'm not sure what the smell was from. It won't stop us feom staying here again! It was the perfect stay for our family road trip.

Brand new hotel

This is a nearly new La Quinta located right off the interstate in the south part of Trinidad, southeast Colorado. Friendly front desk knew exactly who to call for a late night pizza delivery. This is a busy place and they were completely full the night I stayed there so be sure to make a reservation.

It felt safe and clean, but underwhelming in amenities. Room was very small, and felt a little worn out. Breakfast spread was pretty good, but I didn't feel like talking to anyone at 6am, so I stuck to a cold breakfast.
