Peaceful, private 3BD home nestled in the redwoods

Relax and refresh in this peaceful cottage. Close to beaches, hiking trails & the town of Trinidad. Newly remodeled, sparkling clean 3 bed 2 bath cottage tucked in the redwoods. Very private. Plenty of parking. Enjoy a day at the beach and come home to barbecue on the giant back deck. Beautiful views of the redwoods and a fenced park-like backyard. Bring your friends and family or just come alone to get away and rejuvenate. This cottage in the woods welcomes you.
The space
What's nearby:
Trinidad is a wonderful little town with fantastic shops and great restaurants. Patricks Point State Park is nearby to enjoy the redwoods. Hike the breathtaking Rim Trail overlooking the coast or walk down the steps to Agate Beach and hunt for shells and agates. Big Lagoon County Park is an eight-mile estuary on the coast. And just 22 miles north, find yourself in Prairie Creek Redwoods National Park, home to some of the largest trees in the world! Trinidad welcomes you!!!

This house is named cottage A. It is straight ahead on the driveway and labeled. There is a split in the driveway that heads to the left. That is for cottage B. Please stay around your personal cottage. There is plenty of very private space for you to enjoy!!!
Other things to note
Please be mindful that you are in the woods. There are forest creatures: foxes, bears and mountain lions. No need to fear them
..they are more afraid of you. In fact the chance of seeing one is extremely rare. Just please don’t leave food or garbage outside and make sure to clean your yummy dinner off of the grill.

We loves everything about this house it was located in a semi secluded but not secluded At the same time. Tucked and nestled in a Serene of tall trees. Just exactly what we were hoping for to escape from the moodiness of the everyday city life. This house has a cozy welcomeness the minute you walk through the front door. It’s well furnished with everything you need in the kitchen down to comfortable beds and stocked bathrooms. The backyard deck is amazing to enjoy our early morning coffee. Our Host Jennifer was AMAZING!!!. She went above and beyond from helping our family with our families excursions ideas before our trip even started down too checking in to see if we arrived safely to the house. I can’t say enough Joie much that really meant to us. Thank you Jennifer! Our family have booked marked this as our must booked again and will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family for their trips.

Very clean, and charming home. In the perfect location If you’re looking to explore that area. The beach is 5 min. You’re surrounded by the redwoods, and it has the perfect amount of privacy. Great for a dog with a sizable backyard. Jennifer was also a great hostess! With immediate response time, and great attitude. We left our remote there, and she made sure to get it back to us. We will most certainly be back!

Wonderful getaway

Perfect Small Town & Close to Redwood National & State Parks

We stayed for three nights as we visited Redwood National and State Parks. It was also close to the town of Trinidad, which is a neat small town to visit. The house was perfect for our family of four and was in a quiet wooded location. Jennifer was a pleasure to communicate with. You will not regret your stay!

We had an amazing stay! Surrounded by redwoods on a quiet road above town, this cozy and secluded house was the perfect base for exploring the north coast. The clean and comfortable house was nicely furnished with all the amenities. A wraparound deck made a great place to hang out and chill, and the fully enclosed yard was great for our two dogs. The tiny town of Trinidad is a short drive away (maybe 5 minutes) with several casual restaurants and shops, plus some absolutely breathtaking beaches and hiking trails. We visited and highly recommend Trinidad State Beach and Luffenholtz Beach, both of which are dog-friendly. For families, there is horseback riding in the redwoods about 30 minutes north out of the town of Orick, which was fun. Best of all, Jennifer was a fantastic host and communicator who truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. If we're ever back in this area, we would definitely come back!

Perfect getaway!! Highly recommended

We had an incredible stay from the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described (if not better). The property was spotless and well-maintained, with every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for us. Jen was fantastic, responsive and provided excellent local recommendations, making us feel welcomed and well-informed throughout our stay. Overall, this was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve experienced. We can’t wait to return and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free escape.

Awesome place to stay

My mom, my wife, and I stayed there for 4 days. The description of "nestled" in the redwoods is accurate. It is a beautiful place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals and eat there. A grocery store is only minutes away. It is conveniently located to access the Redwoods state park to the north and Avenue of the Giants to the south. The dining room table was big, allowing meals and games. (The closet is stocked with games!) TV was available as was a comfy couch and chairs. We would definitely stay there again. It felt like home. Definitely 5 stars.

Great Fun!

Secluded in the woods but only a mile from Trinidad and a couple miles from the ocean. We had two couples in 64-67 range and everyone enjoyed this property. A third couple would not have been too crowded. The property is close to the 101 so it is easy to travel north/south to hike the redwoods or climb the rock formations along the ocean. We enjoyed all the authentic restaurants in the Trinidad area.

Lovely place in a great location

We really enjoyed Jennifer’s house. It was wonderfully decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed. The location is great too - we explored both north and south of Trinidad. I would definitely choose to stay at this house again.

Beautiful redwoods getaway!

We are not used to the twists and turns of hilly roads and wish we'd had a smaller vehicle than the huge one we had, but the place was worth it! We saw and heard birds from the beautiful deck that we'd never seen before! The house was spacious and clean, and had everything we needed except ice trays and a pizza cutter. Jennifer was even incredibly helpful in helping me find options when I needed a place to do laundry. I was grateful when the grass was cut because it grows fast and was taller than my older tiny 11 pound dog so at 1st she didnt want to go outside, after that she loved the spacious fenced in yard. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
