With its three bedrooms, a spacious living area, and a private back deck, this home is perfectly situated in the calm and quiet Boulders Condo Community, close to the conveniences of downtown, but away from the crowds, making it the ideal combination of comfort and location. A rare gem in Truckee, this villa has lovely tree views right from the living room where you can enjoy warming yourself before the gas fireplace while the kids play board games over the dining table. Put on a movie marathon with the Blu-ray DVD player, the large flatscreen cable TV, and lots of buttered popcorn and oven-baked jalapeño poppers! Speaking of the oven, you'll find plenty of stainless steel appliances and fun cookware in the full kitchen, including a dishwasher to make cleanup quick and easy. The deck is the perfect place to entertain guests with a fun barbecue on the private gas grill, or to enjoy your first cup of coffee from the comfort of an Adirondack chair. Overall a very good stay. It's a lovely condo, with good bedrooms and showers/bathrooms. It's centrally located with easy access to Truckee and Tahoe City/Northstar. The jacuzzi wasn't clean which was unfortunate, but other than that everything worked well and was clean.

Great condo, great location

The condo was nice. Very clean, comfortable, well equipped. Our only complaint was the hot tub - the water looked very dirty, none of the three of use wanted to get in it! The sauna was nice though, and great for after the skiing. The access code to get into the condo is too long - we almost got locked out because we couldn't memorize a 10-digit code! Luckily we had a cell phone to look it up. The toilet needs a plumber's love - it rocks around and runs all night.

Great unit and location, but Vacasa (property mgmt) was very disappointing.

The unit is located right off Hwy 89 near Hwy 80. It was perfect for us because we were attending a show in Reno and visiting with family who live in Truckee. The unit was convenient and comfortable, with easy access to Reno, Tahoe City, and Truckee. It was very quiet outside the hours of the roof project, which Vacasa failed to notify us of. Nearby is the Truckee Crossroads Shopping Ctr with SaveMart, CVS, and a smattering of small businesses. I booked the unit on 8/3/24 for 9/12 -14/24. On Sep 9, I looked at VRBO to see if the unit was vacant the night before our arrival. It was, so I requested an early check-in at 1:00 p.m. I was told it would depend on the housekeeping team's ability to finish cleaning the unit. WHAT? The unit was not occupied the night before our arrival. We found a construction company working on the roof and siding when we arrived. Their equipment was scattered all over the building's driveway. They kindly moved everything when we told them we needed to park in the driveway. We found a flyer taped to the front door announcing the work schedule would be from 9/3 -13/24. We had to close all the shades for privacy because the workers were on ladders outside. The following morning, while we were relaxing in bed, one of the workers knocked on the door and asked if we would move our car. We then had to listen to hammering and banging all morning. I emailed Vacasa and complained, but their response was weak, with no additional follow-up.

Perfect Condo for Family

This is a very nice condo. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable as is the living area. It’s an upstairs unit. We appreciated that we could park our vehicle in the garage during winter. We definitely recommend staying here. The complex is quiet and nice. The hot tub and gym is very nice also.

Small vacation getaway

We rented this small condo for a weekend getaway for the family and it served its purpose quite well. Well located off 89, close to Truckee with accessibility to both Olympic Valley and Northstar. The carpets seemed quite stained, but other than that, the place was clean. The grill was quite small and nearly out of propane (and was in the garage rather than the deck) but we managed to get our food cooked. Overall, we enjoyed the place and found it was exactly what we needed for an evening refuge after playing in the mountains all day!

Good location and stay

Pros: - Nice place that worked well for our group - Bus stop to the Palisades picks up ~4 min walk away - Hot tub just a couple min walk from the property - Access to garage and sleds Cons: - Sent two messages to property manager (it's a management group not the actual condo owner) and didn't get responses on either - there wasn't a way to message them through a text or the emails that Vacasa sent either, just a phone number - WiFi was spotty - wouldn't recommend working from here if you have to take video meetings

New home: cozy, convenient and quiet

Definitely 5++. The photo shows a couch that looks old, but when we entered the condo, we were wildly delighted to find that the entire condo perhaps was recently fitted with high quality, matching furniture; artwork on walls is as delightful as the new furniture. The unit has NEST for temperature control, which functions smoothly. Kitchen is fully stocked with common ingredients and quality plates, silverware. Linings are soft. The unit is 3 minutes walk away from grocery and restaurants, but quiet, with a large patio overlooking a trail. My daughter and I love this place, will definitely return!
