Iâve never left lower than a stellar review, but we had some issues. We stayed over Christmas to visit family. First, the communication was good. The kitchen is well stocked and the view is amazing. We found the beds comfortable and the a/c worked well.The house could use some TLC. There are quite a few holes and chips in the walls and broken items throughout the house. I contacted the owner to make sure we wouldnât be charged, and they seemed to know about the issues but had not fixed them.As others have mentioned, our car did not fit in the garage and the drive way is pretty steep, so if you need to unload a lot from there itâs hard.We also had some privacy issues.Our last morning there, an a/c worker was at the front door attempting to use the code and enter the home. I spoke with the owner on the phone who said she forgot there was anyone staying at the property. We had been texting on the app, and the car was in the driveway, so Iâm not sure how thatâs possible.Then, before check out time, I came out of the bathroom and there was a cleaning woman standing in the bedroom. They continued to clean and be in all the rooms while we were trying to pack up. I am sure they had a lot to do and it was right after Christmas, but this was very uncomfortable. I have never had an experience where people enter the home before checkout time and without knocking or announcing themselves. The house is fine, but itâs over priced for what you get.
