Arrived and was served with Welcome drinks. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were AC and comfortable with TVs which worked. Showers and bath = excellent. Swimming pool was a bonus in 35 Deg heat!! and really useful for my 2 boys. Breakfast was varied and spot on. Very satisfied with hotel ++++
This hostel can be summed up in one word - AWFUL. This hotel needs to close down for a MAJOR refurb and basically get rid of 90% of the staff. The welcome you get at reception is nonexistent and you are treated as a big inconvenience, most of the staff are miserable to say the very least and the whole place seems staffed by sullen 50+ year olds. The swimming pool is located in an area like a prison camp recreation ground with concrete and dead plants. The extra payment for the supposed "executive floor" is not worth a penny. The staff sit watching TV, the breakfast is very basic and the snakes are just inedible. This is my second stay at this hotel...I thought I would give it another chance....NEVER again, the only saving grace is the location but that does not counteract the pain of staying there.
