Cozy cabin on the Twisp River. Just 5 minutes from town on Twisp River
320 sq ft studio with fireplace ,Convection Oven, wifi, tv, a/c, blackout curtains, firepit Just five minutes from town Peaceful with no traffic or street lights Quiet get away If you love nature this is for you
Bathroom is separate, in another building. Listing says one bathroom, which one normally assumes to be part of the dwelling. The only mention of this is in one of about 24 pictures where an arrow points to the bathroom. About 30 feet from the cabin. No mention made in the listing. Plus landlord charged more than one days rent for cleaning and fees. She claims this was stated upfront, but if so, not obviously. On demand water heater for a sink in the cabin that I couldnât get working. No instructions. Coffee beans but no grinder. Other than that, it was fine.
A very quaint property, clean interior, comfy bed, mountains, and a beautiful river. I wish I had noted that the bathroom is not located in this guesthouse. While it was only steps away, it was raining while I was there - so the trip back and forth wasn't as nice as it could be. The bed was comfortable, and the room decor was lovely. I do have to say however that it was a location I just couldn't get comfortable in, I didn't feel safe there alone. For others this may not be an issue. Please note...the roaster begins the morning very, very early. And he is located very close to the room. I'm sure that many would find this property very relaxing. We can't all like the same things, and each guest allowed their own opinion...personally I won't likely stay at this location again.
Loved it. We came back from the Twisp market feeling like boiled lobsters and getting in the river up to our necks felt heavenly. Had that belly laugh feeling. Worth every dollar just for that. Everything else was incidental. But Susan was really friendly to us, so I guess I should mention sheâs a great host. She made a trip to town for propane even though we said we werenât going to barbecue. We could have changed our minds!
A beautiful and comfortable base for our adventures in the Methow Valley. Sitting by the river in the evening after our day of mountain biking and golfing was a delight.
I have a soft spot for the methow valley so coming to stay here was a treat! A cute and modest cabin for an agreeable rate. Would happily come back here again! Really enjoyed the chickens even though they woke us up early :)
The add stated hot tub no hot tub no washer and dryer no bbq Host said we were a day early in which we were not host said cabin still dirty and would give us a extra day to stay the shower was disgustingly dirty found dead bugs in coffee cups steps to creek were in need of repair felt like they were constantly being watched then host stated that she had a new booking and wasnt going to give us the free day we stayed one night and left very disappointed drove 4-1/2 hours to get there want a refund I have pictures of add stating hot tub and other amenities in which she changed add next day
This cabin is cozy but adequate for what we needed. It was a bit of a surprise to see that the bathroom is not attached but rather in a separate building. The host provided some nice treats and items for breakfast which was great! We will return another time.
