Secluded Wooded Cottage Near Snowmobile & Walking Trails, Fire Pit, Fast Wi-FI

Escape demands of city living and welcome relaxation! Our cottage is tucked away in the woods of the North Shore. Take in the views of Lake Superior or visit historical lighthouses, then head back to the cottage and relax around the fire.

Close to town, the shores of Lake Superior, snowmobile trails, and only 25 miles from Duluth.

Enjoy fast Wi-fi, washer & dryer, free-parking, A/C, and a cozy gas fireplace.

As our cottage is in the woods, it is also home to many beautiful animals including bear, deer, foxes, and coyotes.

The wildlife typically avoid humans, but they love garbage and are attracted by the smell of food. Always bring all food inside at the end of the night.

great cabin near the north shore

we loved staying here! the fire pit was great and barbara and derk left plenty of firewood. we also made great use of the grill! perfect for a small group with quick access to downtown two harbors and nearby state parks.

Great location to visit the North Shore!

Great location for exploring the surrounding area. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A few more kitchen amenities would have been helpful, but overall we really enjoyed our time here. Would recommend!

Peaceful escape.We just needed a couple days to unwind and relax.Beautiful setting in the woods.

We had a great 2 nights stay.Campfire time after a relaxing hike and seeing some sites in Two Harbors.We would definitely do another trip to the area and stay in the same place.The cottage is perfect!

Beautiful little romantic home base!

It’s our honeymoon, and this little cabin couldn’t have been more perfect! Cozy little place to stay as we ventured out on day trips to nearby parks. Clean and comfortable. Beautifully maintained. Secluded and private. Fireplace was cozy, kitchen well equipped, and everything was fantastic for our stay. The only downside to the cabin was the light on the pole outside, which I completely understand is likely there for safety, but it limited our stargazing. A minor thing for an otherwise perfect place.

Very nice private cabin. It was close enough to Gooseberry Falls and Two Harbors to be convenient but far enough away to be private. The deck was great to sit and watch the birds and wildlife. The interior was very clean and cozy.

Calm and Relaxing

Such a quiet spot. Far enough away from everyone but close enough to get something from town if you need. Only real complaint is that the bed is very very firm. Even though that is a matter of preference, I've stayed alot of places and never had a bed that firm. That is the only reason i cant give 5 stars.

This property met our needs perfectly. It was very clean and new. The cabin was cozy and warm. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. Phone and wifi connection were good. I would stay at this cabin again.

Get-A-Way

We come to the area often in the winter to enjoy the snow and the snowmobile trails. This property is in a perfect location, only .5 miles to the trail or 10 minutes to the Hwy 2 drop off at the CJ Ramstad State Trail. Great cabin with everything we needed. I love the floor plan - very nice!

Was pleasantly impressed with how outfitted the kitchen was. Beautiful space to cozy up and served as the perfect launch point for adventure. Wonderful decorative details throughout the cabin and good functional furniture. Felt like we had our own patch of the woods but was close enough to not actually be remote. The porch swing is the cherry on top. Wonderful all seasons retreat
