Ty Cwyfan (pronounced 'Tea Quiv-an') is a ground-floor apartment within the historic Llys Llewelyn complex, located in the picturesque village of Aberffraw. The open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area is spacious and bright, with natural sunlight pouring in through the multi-aspect windows and misted glass door leading to the patio. The living room is equipped with two sofas, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and a dining table for up to six guests. The well-equipped kitchen, featuring a large fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker, is perfect for preparing family meals or beach picnics.



Each of the three bedrooms has its own en-suite shower room, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests. The master bedroom features a king bed, while the two twin rooms provide ample space for children or friends.



Guests can enjoy the small patio with a bench table for morning coffee or evening dining. The complex offers various amenities, including ample parking and an EV charging point (app download required). Guests can also visit the on-site bar and kitchen for afternoon tea and home-cooked dishes during peak season (closed in off-peak season, open Wednesday - Sunday in peak).

A lovely, spacious and comfortable place to stay

We loved our time at Ty Cwyfan. It was a lovely cosy place to stay. We particularly liked the large and spacious main living area, with comfortable sofas. The kitchen was very well equipped too. Aberffraw is a lovely little village to stay in and there are lovely walks on the doorstep down to the beach, or around the coast. Anglesey Holiday Lettings also provide excellent service. Can't recommend them highly enough!

This cottage was excellent to spend a week in and it had all the comforts of home. We especially liked the ensuite shower and toilet for each of the 3 bedrooms. Very quiet area and ideally situated fir restaurants ect and I will definitely book this cottage again.

Great place facilities great desk 3 rooms en suite convenient to getting round Anglesey - loads to see and do. Every year we discover new places. Great addition to order beans. All Main supermarkets kn one site. Used to get all food etc delivered on eve if arrival till Morrison s let us down Christmas Eve says can bribe due. So no left us with nothing! Prefer go get order ourselves. It’s so convenient

Great Cottage in a wonderful location

Spent a very enjoyable week at Ty Cwyfan. The cottage was very well equipped and the fridge freezer was a great size for a group/family for the week. The cottage was always nice and warm and the beds were really comfortable. It was a bonus having an en-suite for each of the 3 rooms and the showers were hot and powerful. The room was even larger than it appeared on the photos, so plenty room for 6 people to enjoy meals together and relax afterwards! Fairly small courtyard outside but a nice place to sit in the morning sun. In the evening, the shared BBQ area gets the evening sun overlooking sheep in the fields. It's nit picking....but the only thing we would ask for is a new bin!! The one in the kitchen area was not a pedal bin and the lid was cracked, it necessitated the need to touch the bin lid to lift it each time to open it.. Aberffraw is a lovely village and the beach is spectacular. Friendly local pub. It's a great place to base for touring all around. We would definitely stay again.

Ty Cwyfan is a gem of a place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ty Cwyfan in Aberffraw, Anglesey. Our accommodation was wonderful and we especially liked that all three bedrooms were ensuite. We also liked the open plan living / kitchen/dining area. Everything was spotless. The enclosed patio was good for our 2 small dogs. Aberffraw is a lovely little village and Anglesey has some of the most wonderful beaches in Wales. Our dogs certainly enjoyed the sandy beaches. Will definitely be returning here...

We love Aberffraw and stay as often as we can. Ty Cwyfan is a lovely place to stay. It is quiet and well equipped. We have stayed more than once. If you stay here I don’t think you will be disappointed. The beds need replacement as they are uncomfortable, but otherwise loved our stay. Note: The local pub has closed down, which is very sad to see for the village. Hopefully it will be sold and be able to reopen.

Great accommodation, spacious and well equipped, en-suite to all 3 bedrooms was fantastic. Friendly Local pub within walking distance and excellent tea room next door which also does a great breakfast. Beautiful beach walks on your doorstep and highly recommend a visit to the hidden garden. Disappointed that majority of nearby facilities close on a Monday and Tuesday, hopefully this will change during peak season.

Highly recommended for dog owners

The location has everything on its doorstep; rural walks, river estuary and beach, 'Cegin Bar' next door providing breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea, village shop, and recently re-opened pub, 'The Crown'. Our second time at Ty Cwyfan and third time at the Llys Llewellyn cottages. Accommodation is always clean, comfortable and in very good condition. Ideally suited to dog owners; lovely coastal walks and even doggy ice cream in the café. Would highly recommend. Rhosneigr just 10 minutes drive and Newborough beach and forest within easy reach. On arrival there was a problem with the locking mechanism to the front door but this was quickly resolved.
