Everyone needs a little "Beach Therapy" and this historic renovated Tybee beach cottage is exactly what the doctor ordered. This picturesque home has everything you are looking for in a Tybee vacation rental. Located in a preferred area of Tybee, the vintage cottage sits on the corner of 18th Street and Chatham Avenue. The convenient location gives you quick access to several beach crossovers and popular attractions.

Beach Therapy is part of Tybee's historic preservation project, with all the updates you expect in a luxury vacation. This cottage features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and modern coastal decor recently updated.
Lush tropical landscaping and furnished wrap-around porches welcome will welcome your arrival. Enjoy sitting on the patio or relaxing in the hammock while listening to the sounds of island life.
The main living floor features an open floor plan. The living room has plenty of seating and a large HD television. A formal driftwood table separates the living area from the recently updated kitchen. The traditional dining table seats six people with additional seating, for 3, at the dine-on kitchen island. The kitchen is outfitted with high-end appliances and everything you need to prepare meals.
Beach Therapy has two bedrooms on the top floor and an additional two bedrooms on the ground level. Bedroom #1 is the main suite with a queen bed, TV, and attached full bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a comfortable queen bed and TV. This bedroom is conveniently located next to a full bathroom in the hallway.
The ground living level of "Beach Therapy" is a retreat in itself. The bonus living space has a large television and movie library. You may access the covered lounge area from the ground living space in the enclosed garage area. Bedroom #3 has a full bed and private access to the lounge area. Bedroom #4 has a queen bed. There is also a full-size bathroom on the ground living level. The covered garage lounge is the perfect area to play games and gather after a long day at the beach. The enclosed oversized outdoor shower has both cold and hot water, which is a rare amenity in an outdoor shower!
A private courtyard, plenty of outdoor seating, and a gas grill are located on the side of the cottage.

Love this little serene cottage

my family of 5 stayed here but there was room for 2-3 more people. It was spacious, clean, and so pretty. The porch and outdoor space is amazing. It’s not listed with a pool or hot tub and has a hot tubbed size pool in the back-perfect for hanging and relaxing after a beach filled day.

Family Beach Getaway

What a delightful stay we had at Beach Therapy! It's located in a quiet neighborhood, yet very close to 2 different beach access points. The house itself is beautiful - very clean and well equipped. And the beds were some of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. I also want to mention the superb communication with the rental company. When I called about an issue with the hot tub and an outlet that wasn't working, their team was gracious and very responsive. Special shout out to Katie for her exceptional customer service! Thanks for the great experience - the whole family is looking forward to returning soon!

Quiet location

Easy walk to food, beach was literally around 3 different corners, quiet neighborhood away from tourists, and the location was lovely. The house itself was more than enough space for everyone (although it’s weird not to have a shower in the master bath) and the kitchen was awesome.

Great House for Large Group

The home was beautifully decorated and equipped for a large group of 10. Everyone had their own space/bathroom & we didn't feel on top of each other. The location is perfect if you're looking for a beach staycation, it's within 5-10min of walking distance depending on which beach assess you choose. The restaurants/bars are just ok. Some are pretty run down and the wait times are very long. Not great for kids. We'd recommend going to the grocery store to buy your meals (lunch/dinner) for the week, for a better experience & eating in a timely manner. Shipt was available. We did not have a car, we traveled by plane. The transportation was not easy to come by. We were able to Uber to Tybee Island, but were not able to Lyft or Uber out. Taxi service is your best bet when wanting to get to & from Savannah without a vehicle. Some Uber/Lyft drivers will take you, however it is hit or miss. Was a little nerve racking for us when needing to get back to the airport for an early flight. Recommendations for the house would be to invest in new shower heads, bath mats and bath towels. Recommendations for check-in, to have the key accessible in the lockbox at the front door & your check-in placed on the island. For those who are traveling without vehicles & strict check-in times, its difficult to get to many places when transportation isn't easy to come by. It would ease the check-in process for many guests.

The house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. A little oasis within walking distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants. We rented golf carts and had plenty of parking for cars, bikes, and carts. The outdoor seating was nice and comfy. We all would definitely stay again.

Fabulous vacation house!

Wonderful rental property. Beautiful house with plenty of room for our family of 7. The location couldn’t be better...one block from either ocean beach, inlet beach or town shopping/restaurants etc. We also checked out the dolphin tour with Derek, which was a big success. I would highly recommend this property.

A wonderful beach house!

We LOVED this home and will totally book it again. It fit our family of four with a great layout, and plenty of room left to bring along the grandparents! It was just a quick block’s walk to our favorite Tybee beach, and it was SO impeccably clean. The outdoor spaces were so enjoyable (although we were quite sad that the hot tub was broken during our stay). But I think that the most enjoyable part for me was the wonderful decor and style that the home provided. Perfect—it truly felt like our home away from home. WELL DONE!

Cute Cottage, but things were broken

We overall really enjoyed our stay at this cottage on Tybee! I come to Tybee a lot and this was our best stay yet. That said, there were a couple things that were upsetting. First, we booked this place specifically because it had a hot tub. It was my bachelorette party and literally the only thing I wanted in the place we rented was a hot tub. The hot tub was broken when we arrived and we were told it couldn't be fixed because it was raining. It wasn't raining before we arrived, though, and we booked a month out, so there was plenty of time to fix it. We couldn't get the toilet in the master to flush. I think the chain was too long. We had to take the lid off and manually flush it every time. Gross. An easy fix for the owners, though. Lastly, not a huge deal, but the cleaning crew showed up early. Normally this wouldn't bother me but we were already anxious about getting back to Atlanta and were rushing out the door, so it didn't help to have them sitting there and we felt pressured to leave ASAP. All of these are fairly minor, except the hot tub, and overall we really enjoyed our stay. Make sure they fix the hot tub before your stay, but otherwise, I definitely recommend this cottage for a fun stay on Tybee. CUTE decor - props to whoever decorated.

This house had everything you would need for entertaining large family gatherings. So much space and a quick walk to the beach. The “starters” were a nice welcome surprise. This is a corner lot and traffic can be a bit hectic and noisy as there is public parking directly behind the house.

Hidden Gem!

This property is absolutely amazing. We had two infants and five adults in our group, and we all had plenty of room. The updates they’ve done are top notch, and it is truly walking distance to a very private portion of beach. The management company is responsive and easy to work with - we will definitely be back!
