Cool showers, master bed was great. Mattresses in other rooms were very uncomfortable. Design was very nice. Loved the porches. I would recommend to anyone for the weekend but not for a week. Couch was very comfortable to sleep on.
Overall we liked the property and felt the location was great. Right in the middle of the island, so very convenient. The home was nice and spacious, but we did have a couple issues that I wasnât particularly impressed with: (1) When we arrived I could feel sand on nearly all of the floors in the home; I went ahead and swept the floors and there was a ton of sand down, especially in the master bedroom. Not a big deal but it was supposed to be cleaned.(2) I feel like the couch/loveseat need to be replaced. Having cloth seating areas in a pet friendly rental probably isnât a great idea; the couch is a light tan and is full of several stains. We laid a blanket down over top of the couch because it just didnât feel clean. The kitchen table cloth was also stained up but thatâs an inexpensive fix. Now for the biggest issue that may happen to anyone with a pet. The next door neighbor in a brick house adjacent to an empty lot) came out to tell me my leash (retractable with harness) is not secure and not safe; I tell her to mind her business no one asked her. I go in and come back out without my dog, and she comes back down in front of my rental filming me, saying she knows the property owners and will call the police. She says my Pomeranian which had never been aggressive is a vicious breed lol. So I go ahead and tell her Iâll call the cops for her, which I did. If u have a dog, beware of her! Sheâs the first rude person Iâve had to deal with in Tybee! Thanks Karen!
We really enjoyed staying at this property. It has some quirky features and plenty of room to sleep 6-7. It's in a great location, not far from the beach and the IGA. It was really easy to check-in and out. Had everything we needed. Not really about the property, but we found out it's next to impossible to find parking at restaurants and ended up going off island.
