Mount Mansfield cottage

Absolutely perfect!
Publié le 25 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayMyself, my 5 year old and my 7 year old stayed here for a super quick weekend of Harvest Market in Underhill. It was a perfect location for us. The creek just outside provided an amazing backdrop for an impromptu photo session. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil or pan you could need and the dishwasher was an unexpected but very welcome surprise. My kids were so excited about this house that they keep asking when we can come back! We will definitely be looking into renting here again!

The house was clean and had everything we needed, including in the kitchen which is not always the case with a rental. We fell asleep to the sound of the small river and creek alongside the house and spent time reading on the porch. The road that the house is on leads to a bunch of great trails on Mt. Mansfield and it’s a quick trip to stores.

Good summer get-away
Publié le 4 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was a wonderful option for a summer get-away for our family of four. We enjoyed the porch and porch swing and the sound of the bubbling brook. The kitchen was larger than we expected and we took advantage of the grill to make dinner a few nights.
The location is convenient for hiking and drive times to Burlington and Waterbury (and the Ben and Jerry's Factory tour) are reasonable.
The host was very communicative and responded to messages quickly. The property was clean and check-in/check-out were a breeze. Overall a very positive experience!

Christmas vacation

Very nice house and property.
Publié le 7 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis house met all our needs while we were in the area for a family wedding. The house was very clean, comfy beds and pillows. The couch was comfy too. Two full bathrooms were welcome and clean. There was a cozy den also with another comfy couch and TV. The kitchen was very nice, beautiful countertops and appliances. The hosts were very thoughtful by leaving counter surfaces, dresser tops and bathroom counters free of knicknacks so there were plenty of places to put our personnel items. The yard is lovely. The brook that runs along the front and side of the property was so nice. Sitting on the porch swing listening to the brook was so peaceful and a perfect place to have my morning coffee. The mudroom was nice with plenty of hooks to hang coats, bags, etc and plenty of shoe storage under the bench. The screen porch was very nice as well. My family and I enjoyed this house and would definitely rebook and recommend it.
