ABOUT UTOPIA COVE

Utopia Cove has an enviable location on the main road through Union, with nearly 200' of beachfront. A wonderful combination of ease of access and natural tranquility. A long dock, shared with neighbors, and rocking chairs in the back mean you can dock your boat or sit and relax and watch the marine traffic all day. Boats, seals, the occasional whale, these are all of your marine neighbors.

Inside the main house there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and then a separate apartment above the garage with a queen-sized bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. There is a king-sized bed in the main bedroom, with windows that offer views and privacy at the same time. An additional upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a main level bedroom has another queen-sized bed, and the recreation room has a built in Murphy bed.

The kitchen features all the appliances you'll need, plus a coffee maker and plenty of pots, pans and dinnerware. The living room will warm you up with its toasty propane fireplace and uplift you with views right up Hood Canal and to the mountains.

Plus, there's a rec room where you can spread out and relax while playing some of the house's games. As an added bonus, the hot tub is perfect for relaxing and soaking after a long day of fun.

The town of Union has much to offer visitors. It's the first non-native artist colony in the state of Washington and continues to attract artists of all kinds. You'll find a variety of resturants and activities in the area, including the Alderbrook Golf Course, just ten minutes away.

And Hood Canal will tempt you with to die for scenic views, endless recreational activities (hiking, biking, watersports), and the opportunity to explore the beauty and wonders of the Olympic Peninsula.

Take a scenic hike where you'll be able to see the waterfront, the mountains, and possibly the sunset, too. Or go fishing or boating on the ever scenic Hood Canal.

We know that booking a rental property home for your vacation can be unfamiliar territory for some, while others know their way around it. We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise.

MANAGED: Property requires good behavior and adherence to instructions, house rules, terms, conditions, onsite instructions, and may require online registration, accidental damage protection, and electronic signature before final booking confirmation, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Instruction including access will be sent by email. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. Unless otherwise arranged, check-in is between 5 and 7pm and check-out is before 11am. If dogs are allowed, they must be approved in advance, with a quantity, weight limit, and a per-dog, per-day fee. Due to government and owner requirements, occupancy may never exceed the number of registered guests, dogs and vehicles. Drop-in guests are not allowed. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording, and interior decibel meters to monitor noise. Bookings over 30 days or longer are with Prospera VIP.

Beautiful location, amazing communication with the property manager. Clean home and felt bigger than anticipated. Our boat was also safely parked on the semi private dock, which made it convenient to access the rest of Hood Canal via water.

Stunning waterfront views, direct access right from the house. Convenient shared dock. Seal watching was a fun benefit. The property itself just misses the accuracy mark, with reference to a few photos and description. All in all we were happy to be there and happy to be on the water. Thank you kindly. Appreciated cleanliness of property. Listing did not show the crazy number of doors. Obviously many additions to original cabin. Only having 2 parking spots when sleeps 10 seems unreasonable. Enjoyed the dock and being able to bring our boat but not listed as a shared dock and gate from next door property was used about a dozen times, twice not being latched which was a concern with small children. Another safety concern was the front patio with no substantial barricade to prevent accidental injury. Not exactly relaxing when oyster farmer began pressure washing at 7am two mornings out of 4. 8 page PDF was intimidating. On a positive note the property managers were very responsive both times that i reached out to them.

Nice stay; some minor issues

The house was in an amazing spot on the hood canal and had great views. We brought steaks with us to cook the first night since the place had a gas grill. The check-in list had us check that the grill had been cleaned prior to us arriving; however, there was no propane canister so we couldn't use the grill. I called the property manager about the issue and they still haven't called back and we have checked out of the property. We didn't let this ruin our company leadership off-site; but it was a real bummer to have to cook some nice steaks in the oven. Because of this; it's unlikely we would rent this place again.

This was a perfect spot on the water for our short family trip. Quiet views of the water from the house, deck, and living areas and the 3 bedrooms in the main house, bonus unit upstairs and murphy bed in the tv room provided comfortable sleep for our party of 8. Everything in great working order, clean and cozy. Property manager very responsive and professional.

Great beac house

We had a great time. House was everything you could ask for. Plenty of space for everybody, with great views. The wildlife in the water right outside the back door is amazing.
