Great staff and personable service. The Kite Beach Cottage does not include Any tea/coffee amenities nor does it include a 240v outlet but the great team did move us to another cottage as soon as the outlet issue was noted. The overall ambience was great but if staying in the kite cottage be prepared for lots of customers visiting the nearby kite training centre and noises from maintenance crews at the kite centre. The breeze and sea sounds are great in the evening when they finish for the day.
The staff are fantastic: friendly, professional and quick to help with any request. I like the location and the spacious rooms, and especially recommend the cottages. My colleague and I ate at the restaurant most days because the food is excellent: even the breakfast is a step above the usual hotel fare. For this price bracket, however, I would have expected the rooms to have tea/ coffee making facilities and a television.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, organised a day trip to Tobago Cays for us. Palm island is a short 10 minute boat ride away.Stayed in a beachfront room, room was large and clean with nice decor. Hotel has a nice restaurant and bar area and gift shop. Breakfast was included, hotel is next to the airport. A wholesale liquor and drink outlet is also on site.
Unfortunately there was a big mixup with our reservation. We were suppose to stay at the Anchorage Yacht Club, but hotels.com messed up our reservation and had us booked while the Yacht Club was closed for renovations. Luckily the General Manager, Melissa, got a hold of us to clear up the confusion and helped us find another place to stay. Melissa, Glen, and Allison were absolutely wonderful in helping us out upon our arrival. We were sad we werenât able to stay at the Yacht Club, however, we are looking forward to our next visit and being able to stay with them. We did see the property and even though it was closed it was absolutely beautiful and very clean!
