I booked with this location because it was close to the event I was working. I arrived to this location at 11:00 Friday evening. I was told my room was being cleaned and it would be available shortly. About a half hour to an hour goes by the lady at the front desk told me my room was then available. I proceeded to the room to find a gentleman in the said room that was being cleaned playing games. He apologized to me and stated he forgot to extend his stay. I then proceeded back down to the desk whereas the same lady that told me my room was being cleaned was. I explained her situation to her. She then goes into the back and returned after a short period of time. She was then in the process of looking for a room for me and had the nerve to say to me we can cancel your reservations and you are more than welcome to look at a hotel elsewhere. I explained to her No, as my other friends were already there and staying as we were committing together back and forth to work. About a half hour goes back and I finally got into a room. Obviously they weren’t cleaning my said room that I told they were cleaning at the beginning. When I asked to speak to a manager there was obviously not one there and I was told I needed to go through Expedia to request a refund! I was not the only patron that this happened to that evening! After working 16+ hours that day all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed! But finally got a room after 2 hours of a fiasco!

Bad, bad bad.

We arrived at after 11pm and were told we had to wait for our room to be cleaned? I'm sorry? Your check in is 3pm. I just traveled many hours, paid a fee and the room isn't ready? Then the employees and guests on our floor were extremely loud and we weren't able to get to sleep. Even though I asked people to be quiet. This was a horrible stay. We would like to ask for a refund because of the unprofessionalism.

I'm sorry to say that this property was incredibly dirty (espeically the elevators), the furniture looks 50 years old, and maintenance was obviously lacking (one of my electrical outlets wasn't working). General maintenance was clearly an afterthought. I'm staying at another Wyndham property tonight, and it's completely different (clean and modern). The Uniontown property doesn't behoove the brand.

We booked through Expedia; stated was dog friendly & to call hotel directly to confirm. I called and the person I talked to stated that we were good to bring our dog with no issues. When we checked in, I was told that we had to pay a $15 per day fee for our dog. Would’ve been nice if Expedia had mentioned this in their promotion. The rooms were updated and clean, but almost all the windows in the property were fogged out, very rickety luggage rack to cart your things to your room. Outside garbage cans, falling apart… Somethings were really updated on the property and others were literally falling apart. Pool closed, appears to be closed forever…can’t even look in to the pool area as windows are covered. Staff was friendly and helpful overall.

Be sure you call if you’re going to be late. They cancelled my PREPAID reservation after I got stranded at another airport. Wouldn’t reinstate the reservation even though the hotel was quite empty. I figured they didn’t need me so I got a refund from Expedia and went elsewhere.
