Thinking about visiting upland? I have a 1-bedroom house that will be perfect for your stay. This cozy suite rental comes with amenities such as washer and dryer, window a/c, Wi-Fi, Comes with fully equipped kitchen. Living room has a full sized sofa bed. Off street parking.
If you want to go to restaurants, shops, and coffee shops, we're within walking distance. Several walking trails connecting nearby cities. Get to many beaches within an hour, and LAX. Close proximity to The Claremont Colleges, University of La Verne and Cal Poly.

Let me start out by saying Josie is a great host and very responsive to any issue. Most of my comments are going to be addressed towards older people or those with mobility issues. The suite is a conversion/additon to the main house which I stayed in last August. The two car garage was converted to the living space and kitchen. The addition is the master bedroom and bathroom. It should be noted that there is about a 3” step up between the two rooms and about a 6” step up to the bathroom. In addition to my wife and I both having back surgeries, she broke her ankle two days before our trip. So if you need a walker or wheelchair to get around or just have balance issues , you may want a different location. The suite has newer washer/dryer, refrigerator and microwave and the range and oven work well. We did very little cooking as we were visiting are kids and ate out or at my daughters house. I meet Josie as we were he getting ready to go and she stopped by as my wife was hobbling to the car. She said it must be hard getting out of the bed as it was only 12” high from floor to top of matress. I had already bought an air mattress, but it but it was 30” high, now we were climbing Mount Everest to get iontobed. She immediately sent one of her sons to go out and get one not as high. None of watch I mentioned would be a problem for younger people. My couple general suggestions would be to put a real door between bathroom and the bedroom, Add a recessed handle on barn door. bedroom.

It was my first experience staying at a house rental. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was very responsive which I greatly appreciated. The only downside was the parking when they had visitors, but it wasn’t a big issue. the first time I knocked on the door and they moved the car from my assigned space. The second time, I parked on their drive way and let Josie know directly via message and the car in my space was moved and I didn't have to worry about not having a space at any time after that. another plus, even when they had visitors, there wasn't any noise or any disturbance, I enjoyed my time there as if I was the only person on site. I would love to come back again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Upland Stay

The place was very much like it showed in the pictures and descriptions. Only thins that were an issue include: Netflix would not work so minimal TV to wind down after a long days work was a little upsetting but managed. I would have liked to have had more laundry soap and definitely fabric softener to do a couple washes.i think this is more an individual preference though. Would have loved more pots and pans, utensils and tupper ware to utilize when cooking. The host was absolutely amazing though. She knew i was coming in late and when i gpt loat she answered the phone to help me get directions to the location. Last minute my sister that was on deployment came back suddenly and i haven't seen her since 2018, the host allowed her to visit with her service dog (animals not allowed on the property) and stay if needed without any issues. That meant the world to me. Lastly, my shower head wasnt working and the host got it fixed for me within 6 hours of letting her know the issue. Host is fantastic. I definitely would recommend this place.

This was my first time using Vrbo but after this stay I will be booking on this app again! This place was very clean and well stocked. The owner was organized and did a great job responding quickly. Clean and comfortable

This was all we needed for a trip to the Claremont McKenna College campus for graduation. The price was significantly better than the closer hotels where other family members were staying. The parking area was easy and the kitchen was great for preparing breakfasts during our four night stay. Liked the Keurig machine! The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The shower was nice and bathroom and other areas very clean. There is a curtain for a bathroom door, different, and bathroom counter space was very limited but we made it work. A white noise machine was included which helped with some fairly significant traffic noise as did my earplugs. We needed to put up a sheet to block the window light and to feel more secluded from the surroundings due to the window slates not closing well. Overall, I would recommend this unit for an affordable and comfortable, clean stay!

Perfect location for a visit with family and friends.

When we walked in I honestly was a little taken back by how small it was compared to the pictures but it was the perfect space for what me and my husband were looking for, so it worked. We loved the washer and dryer, so nice! We also loved the decor, felt very inviting. Everything worked great, easy to checkin and checkout. Great communication with the owner when I was having difficulty logging onto netflix. Great wifi connection, was able to do homework and my test with no problem. The only one thing I would have loved to know is about the mattress for the bedroom, it is a memory foam type mattress and for me it was comfortable but my husband poor back and hips didnt like it. Also one other recommendation maybe having a tv in the living room/kitchen area so that you can enjoy watching a show on the couch instead of sitting on the bed. A major plus though it was only 30 minutes or so from most of our destinations and great neighborhood....we didnt have to worry about our personal belongings when we were out or our car at night. We would stay here again....highly recommend!!

Perfect home away from home

I am a doctoral student at a local university and only need to come to this area 2x a semester. This was a perfect place for me to eat, sleep and study. Having a Keurig with coffee pods was a great bonus. Hope to stay again next time.

For us it was perfectly located. It had everything we needed. There was a Keurig with some kcups readily available for our first morning. The host got right back to us when we had a question. Just an overall nice stay.
