There were a few things we appreciated about this stay — the property was dog‑friendly with an enclosed yard, there was plenty of space for our group, and the appliances and amenities were useful.That said, the listing photos and description didn’t fully reflect the setup. It wasn’t disclosed that the owners live on the property, share walls with the rental, and that there are interior doors connecting the spaces that only open toward the Vrbo unit. The listing also describes the home as being on a quiet street, but the nearby main road can be louder than expected. Earplugs were provided, which is considerate, but it suggests the listing should adjust its claims about being a restful or quiet stay.There were also a few areas that could use improvement. Some cleaning details were missed, including the showerheads and nightstands. We noticed black spots near the ceilings, a damp/stale smell throughout the home, and the showers couldn’t be used at the same time. We also saw tape on the smoke detector, which should be addressed for safety.The TV also requires guests to bring their own Chromecast or external device to watch anything. For a listing that states it can host nine people, having only one TV with no built‑in streaming options may not meet everyone’s expectations.With some maintenance, clearer disclosure, and updated photos, this property could offer a much better guest experience. As it stands, I think it worked for us but I wouldn't consider staying here again.
