Welcome to your home away from home! This beautiful and peaceful house is nestled in a neighbourhood of million-dollar homes in the heart of Vancouver West. Located near UBC, it's just a short drive to the airport and downtown. You will enjoy more than 3,600 sq ft, of living space on over 9,000 sq ft of land. Whether you're travelling for business or a family gathering, we guarantee you will feel right at home and have everything you need. Your privacy is important to us, but we are just a phone call away.A warm welcome!

Guests have access to the entire house except part of the basement. According to Vancouver regulations, All hosts are required to reside within the same house. Our family live in the basement of the house, which has its own separate entrance. Front yards and backyards are also available to guests

Convenient Parking :

There are three free on-street parking spots available right in front of the house. If you will be bringing more than three cars, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate with our immediate neighbours for additional parking. Thanks for your understanding and support of our effort to build a lovely neighbourhood.


High-Speed Internet:

We have Telus high-speed PureFibre Gigabit internet at the house, with both download and upload speeds of 940 Mbps. It's perfect for working or streaming from home and should provide a fast and reliable connection throughout the house.

When you enter using the pass code, you'll be greeted by a stunning luxury spiral staircase and an elegant wall clock, setting the tone for your stay. You are now on the main level of the house, where comfort and style blend seamlessly.


Main Level:

1) Living Room:
The living room is sure to be a favorite gathering spot. It’s spacious and tastefully furnished, featuring a comfortable sofa set, a large smart TV, and a beautiful piano. It’s perfect for relaxing, unwinding, and enjoying quality time together.

2) Dining Area:
The formal dining area is warm and inviting, with a large table that seats six. It’s ideal for shared meals and special moments with your group.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a second dining area with a red hardwood table and four chairs, perfect for breakfast or enjoying a cup of coffee or tea together.

3) Kitchen:
Our fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s dream. Alongside the elegant stovetop, range hood, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, the marble countertops add a touch of luxury. You'll also find modern appliances like a blender, toaster, tea kettle (with teabags), and a coffee machine (with delicious roasted and decaf coffee!). We provide cooking essentials such as utensils, sea salt, spices, and olive oil—everything you need to prepare meals with ease.

4) Family Room:
A cozy retreat, the family room offers leather sofas, a stone-top coffee table, and a TV equipped with Netflix and Telus cable.

5) Fifth Bedroom:
This is the only bedroom located on the main floor. It features two large windows overlooking the backyard, flooding the room with natural light. The king-size wooden bed, with high-quality linens, duvets, and extra blankets, ensures a restful night. This room is conveniently located near a half bathroom for easy access and comfort.



Second Level:

The second floor is ideal for a large friend or family gathering, offering four spacious and beautifully designed bedrooms.

1) The Master Bedroom:
The master bedroom is a highlight, with a large south-facing glass door that fills the room with natural light and offers gorgeous views of the garden. You can step out onto the private balcony to enjoy the fresh air. The room features an original wooden king-size bed with hotel-quality linens, and the spacious walk-in closet includes a wooden crib and high chair for convenience. The private bathroom, complete with a bathtub and rainfall shower, provides a luxurious experience, and comes stocked with bath products, a hairdryer, and extra toilet paper.

2) The Second Bedroom:
This cozy and bright room has a large west-facing window overlooking a beautiful maple tree. The comfortable queen bed is fitted with soft linens, duvets, and extra blankets and towels. The private bathroom, featuring both a bathtub and shower, is fully stocked with all the essentials.

3) The Third Bedroom:
This bedroom offers lovely views of the front yard through its large windows. It has a charming fabric headboard queen bed, and the same attention to detail with hotel-quality bedding, extra blankets, and towels. It shares a bathroom with the fourth bedroom.

4) The Fourth Bedroom:
This room has large windows that overlook the backyard and is just as comfortable as the others. With a wooden King bed, fresh linens, and extra blankets and towels, this room shares a bathroom with the third bedroom, ensuring convenience and ease for everyone.


Laundry Room:
The laundry room is located in the basement, easily accessible from the main floor. With a washer, dryer, and detergent provided, keeping your clothes fresh is effortless during your stay.

Outdoors and Extras:

Spacious Yard:
The outdoor space is perfect for relaxation and play. You'll be greeted by stunning views of pear, plum, fig, persimmon, and cherry trees, as well as the large, lush backyard. A large sun deck and multiple seating areas are ideal for lounging or simply enjoying the fresh air. Children will love exploring the safe, grassy area.

The house is lovely, the garden is beautiful with fruit trees, veggies and flowers. Rooms are generous and everything was spotless. Fans were provided in all bedrooms and they were fantastic! Our host provided snacks and fresh fruit on arrival, which was appreciated. There’s plenty of street parking and the neighbourhood is very nice with all kinds of shops nearby.The only downside was the request to not flush toilet paper. At the cost we paid for this rental for 3 nights, this was unacceptable.

There is no word to describe how pleased we were walking in to find the house spic and span with so many treats and amenities. My family felt very comfortable. The children loved the many board games . We would definitely be back soon, just wish we could have spent more time before the cruise. Love the quiet neighborhood and the many little restaurants and coffee shop/bakery just around the corner. Highly recommend this wonderful host Gavin to all prospective renters also!

An amazing piece of property in the heart of Dundar. Gavin put a lot of thought into this property and how to accommodate large families w/ kids. The small touches with the stuffed animals and snacks for the families were above our expectations. Communication was also on timely and did their best to adhere to our requests. 5 stars! Beautiful vacation home

This is my first time booking a vacation home in Canada. I am extremely pleased with the service provided by Gavin. The house was very clean when we arrived. We were welcomed with snacks, drinks, and fruit, all completely free. There were plenty of cooking ingredients in the kitchen. The house is located in a very nice neighborhood. We will definitely come back to this home and recommend it to our friends.

The house has tons of space, it’s close (by car) to many attractions (great cafe 2 minute walk away), and Gavin was delightful! He left us snacks and drinks, and when we had a couple of small issues, he was immediately available to help us and was very kind. W recommend!

Quiet and comfortable

We had a wonderful stay here with my family. We ranged from grandparents to infants and the house suited everyone in its own way. There is lots of space, and it is quiet and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the house well stocked with plenty of towels, kitchen appliances and cooking basics.Gavin and his family left us a generous welcome spread of snacks and drinks. Gavin is an attentive host making sure you have everything you need and responds to questions quickly.Thank you for hospitality Gavin, it was greatly appreciated!

We were an extended family of seven staying four nights in Vancouver before a cruise. The property is lovely and a great location with convenient parking for our rental cars. Gavin was an excellent host - gracious, prompt in responses, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Nice house - exactly what we needed

This house worked well for our family. We needed all 4 bedrooms. Amenities included laundry with detergent and office space with a printer (my daughter had to work remotely) so the wifi worked well. There are 2 tvs and telus tv and netflix available. Bathrooms clean. Would recommend a car to get around. Steps to groceries (5 min walk) but driving is 20-30 mins to anywhere with construction all around the city. Towels are provided. Stocked kitchen with microwave blender etc. Host is very responsive to messages. The location is upscale, so felt safe in the neighborhood. Short trip to kerrisdale where there are lots of restaurants. Would recommend.
