Nice apartment with good kitchen and bed

The apartment (and the building) gets very hot in the afternoons. I made heavy use of the portable air conditioners, as the building lacks central air. Bed and wifi were both very nice. The apartment gets a lot of light in the mornings and evenings.

When we arrived the temperature was 86*F; no central AC. Two portable AC available; took several hours to cool rooms to a somewhat comfortable level. Definitely not energy efficient; venting ducts prevent windows from closing. Apartment is beautiful; enjoyed common area on 42nd floor.

This rental was a splurge for us. I picked it because my husband loves staying in a downtown city area. It's a beautiful apartment, beautiful view, extremely clean and new. The building is easily recognizable from a distance when walking. Those large windows don't block out the sound of the gulls if you're trying to sleep in. Bring earplugs.

The place was clean, quiet and comfortable. The condo is on a bus line and walking distance to sky train hub and Costco. The building is very secure. My favorite was the view, fantastic.
