Wonderful and helpful staff!

Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working in our room and it was a very hot night! The staff did their very best to assist; bringing us fans and offering a complimentary breakfast. We otherwise had a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at Hotel BLU in Vancouver. The rooms are modern, spacious, and well thought out, with great touches like Dyson hair dryers, Nespresso machines, comfortable beds, hardwood floors, and a large tub that our kids loved. The spa amenities (pool, hot tub, sauna) and the well-equipped fitness room made the stay even better. The location is perfect—close to theaters, waterfront paths, harbor tours, coffee shops, and restaurants. The lobby is peaceful and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond. Special thanks to Tom and Candice at the front desk for their kindness and outstanding service. Hotel BLU will be our first choice when we return to Vancouver!

The place was nice. So close to Roger’s arena. My group and I were there for a concert. Calista at the front desk was amazing and definitely went above and beyond while checking me in. Highly recommend.

So this property websire and description made me think that this hotel was going to be fabulous, well it was very average. The rooms were not up to date the pictures made this hotel look very upscale and in all honesty it was very lack luster. One of the owner was in the elevator with our party(as he was bragging about his ties to the hotel) acted very schauvanistic puffing up his chest and mean mugging one of the gentlemen in our party. Do better Hotel BLU. No guest should be dealing with people like that especially when paying top dollar for accommodations that promise things that weren't delivered.

The location and hotel are nice. Pet friendly with supportive staff. Larger problem is that surge pricing is outrageous and as nice as the hotel is, it is insulting to the pocketbook. Secondary challenge that Expedia advertises this as Pay when you arrive but hotel charges a hold fee for the entirety early which is seen by Visa et al as cash. Expedia filters and Hotel up charges are not clear. Hotel does not extend complimentary breakfast or parking to Expedia customers.

Nice newly looking modern property with spacious rooms bathroom and great amenities. Hvac needs updating as a $600 per night property needs the ac to work properly. Also we were unable to connect netflix to the tv for the entirety of the trip which was a major con. Customer service from the front desk down to house keeping was top notch.
