Save your money - don’t stay here

For the amount this hotel costs, the stay was extremely disappointing. At checkin, I was not told about wifi, any amenities or anything beyond my room number essentially. Going to the room, the carpets were clearly not vacuumed in the hallways - appearances were dated, dented and dingy. In the room, there was hair on the bathroom floor and unvacuumed carpet again. I asked front desk to reclean the room while I had dinner. After returning, I found more hair in the shower on the pump handles of the soap, and under the sink. I called the front desk who said the room had not been cleaned after I Ieft for dinner, but clearly someone had been in and just done the bare minimum and not checked the room or bathroom as a whole. The TV did not work at all - blacking out and line checking on each TV option - offering no television whatsoever. I called back down and they offered a discount - but honestly? A king size room with 1 bottle of water, paper cups that were damp after using for 20 minutes - and after noting an unclean room, did not even really clean the room, check any other items like the TV or anything! They offered another room, but it was 9 pm and way too late. This is a 2 star hotel with 4 star prices. At checkout, no one asked me how my stay was, no one mentioned my difficulty the night before, no one thanked me for my stay. Other than a night manager who called me back after noting the room was still unclean a second time - service was subpar at every instance.

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds for a restful sleep. We had a great view of the harbor from our room. Good food in the hotel's restaurant. Friendly staff. A little pricey, but worth it.
