Lovely stay in what could be a lovely property
We had a great couple of weeks in the villa, but I have really struggled with how to review it.
The villa was clean and well furnished, with almost everything you might need, however some of the information provided, and equipment could benefit from a little updating.
On our arrival the management company didnât even bother to meet us, and just directed us to where they had left the keys. The outside space, with the exception of the pool, was poorly maintained, the bbq area was old and tired, the grass was long and dying, there was a full ashtray by the pool. This left us with a really poor first impression. It was all reported to the management company but despite following up nothing more was heard during the whole 2 weeks. I did notify the owner who was very apologetic, but struggled to do anything due to being overseas.
However, despite all this, we did have a fantastic couple of weeks. The children loved the pool, which was recently updated, and very clean. The local area is great, with loads to see and do within a reasonable distance. There is a lovely restaurant within walking distance and we got the bus into Varna on several occasions. You do need a car to get further afield, but driving is reasonably easy, if you are cautious of potholes and crazy overtaking!
