This was my first hostel experience and I would recommend this place to anyone. We booked a private room for 4 people and were pleasantly surprised how clean it was. The staff were super nice and were happy to answer any questions. The location was great and close to get to everything. It felt like a very safe area and had a ton of dining options. They also have a washer and dryer that you have to pay for but it was well worth it. The only complaints were that the shower water kind of flooded when you had to take a shower so you had to make it quick and we ordered a cleaning service but they didn’t end up cleaning our room. Our overall experience was great for the price we paid for this place.

Nice Hostel closed to Mestre train station. Easy access to Venice. Fantastic big supermarket nearby with coffee shop etc . Nice polite friendly staff at the reception.

Family stay

Great location by the Mestre train station. Convenient for getting around city for a reasonable price. Family room was perfect for our family of four and even had an tv. Only bad was the AC has stopped working earlier in the day, but was running by the time we checked in. So took a bit of time to really cool off. This was during a heat wave in Venice. Would definitely stay again.

We had high hopes for this hostel due to its great location near Venice and easy access to transportation. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. Upon arrival, check-in was delayed. We were given keys to Room #503, which had not been cleaned. The sheets had hair and food on and under the blanket, there was garbage under the bed, debris on the floor, and a used toilet and bidet. Reception gave us clean sheets, but when we removed the originals, we found the mattress was filthy and dusty. A cloud of dust rose when we lifted it—we took photos and videos. After showing reception, we were moved to Room #422. While cleaner, the mattress was in the same poor condition. As it was high season, other hostels were fully booked and we had no alternative. The manager offered a complimentary drink but said no refund or credit could be issued, which felt like minimal compensation for the situation. Cleanliness throughout the hostel, including the common areas, were unacceptable. The only highlight was breakfast (not included), which cost 11€ per person. It was well-prepared with a variety of options: eggs, meats, cheese, veggies, bread, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and made-to-order pancakes, along with coffee, tea, and juice. Overall, the cleanliness issues were too significant for us to recommend this hostel.

Overall the hotel experience was good!! if your are traveling with teenagers and young adults is great, they have a lot of activities very well planned out. The only down to this stay is that they need to clean the bathrooms a little more. Other than that the hotel was very nice, super close to the train to go to Venice and lot of restaurants and shopping close by.

I stayed here for a night with my 3 young kids and had a really nice stay! The hostel is only a short walk from Mestre's train station, the reception/communal area is very nice (with a small play area for the kids, which is always a nice thing to have!) and there's a cafè/restaurant with a few food/drinks options. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend it for a short stay!

It’s the cheapest and most strategically located accommodation close to Venice. It’s very close to the bus & train stations. Their free breakfast was also quite substantial. What I didn’t like were the absence of peace & quiet as lots were of youth groups staying there who had no respect for others need for peaceful rest. Secondly, the bedsheets, pillows and towels could be improved. They only provided a duvet and no bedsheet to line the mattress. The lobby was tastefully decorated but management should hire more staff to do deep cleaning of bathrooms, aisles, and the patio area. Our bathroom was so moody that I dreaded stepping in the shower with bare feet. Lastly, I pre-paid for 5 days but had to cancel the 5th as my cruise was leaving on the 4th day. They didn’t allow me to cancel a day and get a refund. Even if I booked another day after the cruise at a higher price with no breakfast included. That was quite inflexible.

Perfect location near the main train and bus station. Friendly stuff members. Nice atmosphere among young people. Oh from where to start. I cannot even compare this A&O hostel with the one in Copenhagen. The walls desperatly need fresh coat of paint. Extremly dirty windows. Mold in the silicone in the shower. And the most frustrating thing old sheats, not old, ancient sheets with holes. This hostel was one of the expensiest ones, we should at least get a nice sheets in good condition. The higyene was not on some high level. Thin walls, you can hear your neighboars.
