The location of this hotel is unbeatable, the shower had a leak on the top and would spray water everywhere outside of it, other than that the hotel and location are beautiful.

We had booked two nights at this hotel..when we arrived they gave us different hotel..which was not even 1 star..how come they gave us a different hotel then what we had booked…I called Expedia at the same time but Expedia couldn’t do anything!!!!!

It was good value, not the biggest room but well presented with friendly staff. The breakfast was a bit of a let down, cold salami and cheese every day with cereal but it was included in the price can’t complain too much. Good location near St Marks and decent air con which is important for a good nights sleep with the local humidity.

Location was great. Washroom shower was very small needed updating. Also room facing the alleyway was very noisy. Continental breakfast was minimal only a croissant small bun with cold cuts and cereal.

Room in another odd building on 3rd floor, no elevator and crazy instructions to get in, and your key card gets you electricity. Had bug bites all over my face and body when I woke up and the bed is practically on the floor and as thin as a cracker. No wash cloths and had to argue to get a towel.

The property is very old and dated and the night staff was not that friendly, but the location is seriously amazing, with easy access to everything and a short ride on the water bus from the train station. Free breakfast was fine too. We were also able to store our luggage there after checkout as we explored more. This was also very convenient.

The toilet lid was broken, there was no handle on the shower door to close it tightly so water leaked out all over the floor surrounding the shower. The waiting lobby with furniture was dark as well as our room with poor lighting.

The hotel is so old that i believe the red carpet is also 200 years old. I stayed at many old hotels, but this was the worst. The mattress and bed so hard, my bones ached for the next 2 day. Do not choose this place as with all the money they have made, at least they can replace the mattresses and carpet every few years. Breakfast was terrible. I ended up leaving this hotel and getting another.

Hotel location excellent , But Staff and Service are extremely horrible, especially : both elderly age reception desk staff gentlemen attitude and lady carless toward customer need. Seems they are tired to deal with tourists. They do not care our views about hotel experiences and believe still tourists will come no matter. Even check out time no thanks no good bye ! Being Kind Does Not Cost Nothing ! We came with family for Vacation for experience Venice is beautiful but hospitality experience disappointing ...... Highly NOT Recommended !!!!!!!
