We couldn't have had a better stay .

We couldn't have had a better stay . Great value for money , spotlessly clean and a great location . Stunning sea views and quiet and peaceful yet not too far from shops , restaurants , and the esplanade and beach . The apartment spotlessly clean and superbly equipped . Great shower and comfy beds . practically everything you could wish of had been taken care of . Lovely light rooms with bonus of an outside seating area . Wish it had been longer - will definitely be back !

This flat is lovely, clean, light and airy.

This flat is lovely, clean, light and airy. The location is fantastic - just swimsuit on and walk straight down to the beach! The flat had everything we needed. I chose this location for speedy access to the beach, buses to elsewhere on the Island, and food shops - all really close. For swimmers I recommend checking when high tide is, for me high tide is the best swim experience on Ventnor beach. Low tide you are wading through rocks a little bit, but don't let that put you off, you can still swim at low tide. I would just add a tiny feedback for the accommodation: guests would benefit from clear instructions where to find the outside bins. It would be helpful to have advice for future guests, something like: 'the door to the yard, where the outside bins are, may seem stiff and hard to open, do not worry it is not locked, just move the handle and give the door a good push'.

Lovely views, great location

Good points, Great location for the town and beach. The view from the lounge was fantastic and a lovely little balcony on a quiet street. There was a good level of equipment in the kitchen, a comfortable sofa, a practical dining table, TV and internet, and excellent heaters in the flat as we had some chilly nights for the time of year. There was also quick service from the owner to repair the front door lock and from Rebecca at Wight Holiday Lettings with help on the shower. On Arrival, there was a very comprehensive guide folder for the flat and the area. Ventnor is a lovely town with great restaurants and pubs. late-night supermarkets. lots of character. The town is built on a steep hill and the flat is on the town level with a short walk down to the beach, a bit of a steep hill on the way back but with great views. The weather was not the best, but who can tell what one week in June is actually going to be like. There was a bit of wind around the building because of the location, but on fine days you would not have this issue.
