The breakfast was varied and maintained well. The hotel room was very clean and well maintained. This is not a luxury hotel and it is not on the water. But it is close to everything in Ventura. My only complaint is that check in was at 4. We got there early and our room wasn't ready. We left and came back and still had to wait until just before 5 before our room was ready.

The area is cute; the place looks newly renovated. The room was clean, the staff polite and helpful, everything was fine but our bed was so uncomfortable! I would be afraid to come back because of that.
