This beautiful and fully stocked beach home is in the Pierpont neighborhood of Ventura, the city’s most popular seaside community! Enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands from the home’s comfortable balcony and relax your days away in this beautiful space. The home blends contemporary architecture with dazzling ocean views that offer the best of nature and comfort, only six houses from the beach and very close to the Seaward Avenue Strip! Whether your trip is a quick, lowkey getaway or a snowbird vacation, there’s no doubt you will enjoy your time here. This space is fresh, colorful and cozy, and perfect for families, friends and couples alike. The home has a brand-new HVAC system and beautiful new wood-like flooring throughout. The open floorplan boasts an inviting and comfortable living room and dining area with seating for eight. After exploring the Ventura area, guests can relax and cook in a fully equipped chef's kitchen with top of the line appliances. The first-floor open patio is perfect for al fresco dining or romantic dinners. It includes a table with eight chairs, a free-standing market umbrella and a built-in gas grill for all your BBQ cookouts. The home’s five bedrooms and three full baths comfortably sleep 9 and allows for everyone to have their own space. The upstairs bedrooms include closets and the downstairs rooms have large dressers for ample storage, and each bathroom is fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash for your convenience

Although some may choose to vacation in Ventura for the world-renowned climate, there are many other wonderful things to explore and enjoy while visiting: local art galleries, museums, Saturday Farmers Market, boutique shopping, fine and casual dining, and plenty of seaside charm. The downtown trolley is an easy and fun way to take in the sights of downtown Ventura and the beautiful harbor where whale watching and daily excursions to the Channel Islands are offered.
The home is just steps to the beach! You can take a 5-mile round trip walk along the Ventura Promenade, which is great for biking, rollerblading and stroller-walking. The pathway goes from Surfers Point Park (free parking and great for surfing) along the Ventura coastline, passing the Ventura pier, through San Buenaventura State Beach and ends at Pierpont Boulevard. From there, you can continue on the sidewalk along Pierpont Boulevard to Marina Park (free parking) where you will find a great family-friendly park with a sailing ship replica for the kids to play on. Also at the park, you can watch boats coming into the Ventura Harbor, fish and play volleyball. For golfers, there are three nearby courses to choose from: Olivas Links, River Ridge and Buenaventura, all about 2-3 miles away.

You probably won’t want to leave beautiful Ventura, but keep in mind it’s only a 45-minute drive to Santa Barbara, 25-minute drive to Ojai, 45-minute drive to Malibu and 1.5 hours to the Los Angeles Airport (LAX).

This place couldn't have been more perfect for our family vacation. Location, location, location! It was the most perfect location. Was even walking distance to my cousins' who was hosting our extended family reunion. And even though you are right next to the neighbors, it was exceptionally quiet as well.Cruz was a great host and was quite expeditious in answering our questions. Hoping it's available next year when we'll be back in town. Thanks Cruz - we loved your place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately the winter storms that rolled through CA the week and weekend made driving to Ventura dangerous and unadvisable by Cal Trans due to flooding and road closures so we were unable to make the 7+ hour drive to Ventura. Besides missing out on our vacation the property management company was unwilling to give us any credit towards another weekend or even a portion of our payment back. That was their right based on Airbnb policy who didn't recognize the storm as "abnormal" but as a business I would have hoped for a little consideration. The property manager told me for a week he would call me without one actual attempt to do so. I will no longer be using Airbnb and will look for alternate rental avenues in Ventura than Sandy Shores Reality. Ratings below about the property are N/A since we didn't make it but were required in order to submit this review.

Great Location for Beach or Bike Lovers

Quiet street with secluded patio entry in front, and driveway in back. Lots of space for multi-generational groups. We loved the balcony with ocean views! Cool October evenings were perfect to leave the windows open. TV was easy to use, kitchen was adequate, and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed several bike rides -- to the pier (north) and the harbor (south). Convenient to shopping, cool downtown Ventura, even Santa Barbara, Ojai and Hollywood (we visited them all). Folks, vacation rentals are homes that are "lived in," and you can't take out a magnifying glass and expect perfection. A few minor maintenance issues (burned out bulb, icemaker not working) did not affect our stay at all. The neighbors come out to see the sun set every night. This was a good value -- I recommend it.

Really nice place and location

Great place, awesome location. Stayed with my elderly parents and friends - was worried at first about the stairs to the living room and kitchen and 2 bedrooms but they did fine. Loved the upstairs deck with great views to the beach. And great lighting in living room . We had nice weather too, walked to the beach and hung out, appreciated the wagon with beach chairs! Only thing that could be improved is more attention to details like in the kitchen - one stove top burner knob broken and the ice maker in freezer doesn’t work. Otherwise thank you for a great stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If anyone chooses to stay at this property I highly suggest checking all the beds and sheets when you arrive, and if you find issues, report to Airbnb immediately! Because I waited past the 24hrs to report to airbnb, I had no recourse. Shame on me for thinking that the property management company would want to make things right! We arrived to the property at about 6:00 pm, unloaded the cars, and proceeded to start our vacation with dinner and drinks. We were catching up, as we hadn’t seen each other in years, and finally headed to bed at 11pm, after a long way of travel. I was greeted to makeup covered pillow cases and crusted bodily fluids on both the too and bottom sheets, at least 2 other beds in the house clearly had unwashed sheets//hairs, crusted foods, etc. I texted property management that night, no response and no other sheets available to change beds. We then had to strip all the beds (5 of them), because we had to assume all were dirty, and wash and dry all linens in order to make the beds to go to sleep that night. We didn’t make it to bed until 3 am. TREE finally messaged the next am, asking if we wanted new sheets, told Cruz too late for that, as we spent all night washing them. All we asked for was our cleaning fee of $350 to be returned, as clearly the house wasn’t fully cleaned. A horrible finding especially with their claims of enhanced COVID cleaning protocols. The house itself was fine and in a good location, but I would recommend against any listing from this company, as they will do nothing to make it right. Because it was after 24hrs of check in, Airbnb couldn’t hold funds, and when they approached TREE, they refused to credit any monies back. Once again, all we asked for was the cleaning fee, none of the rental money. TREE was professional and helpful until I exposed the issue, and then I never received another response.

Awesome place

This place was right by the beach. Perfect home and space for a little getaway with family. We were all a little concerned because of COVID-19. Everything worked out fine. House was clean with hand sanitizer everywhere, plus we brought extra with us. Beds were comfortable, with lots of space. Kitchen was awesome with open spaces to talk amongst our family. Lots of goodies to take to beach, chairs,umbrella, kids toys and boogie boards. I was born and raised in Ventura and moved away miss the beach so much. This was great location and house to spend with family. Will diffently want to stay again at this house.

It was well laid out for our multi-generational family gathering, and provided ample space for everyone to be together or to have space to "work from home". There are many thoughtful touches -- bikes, boogie boards, beach towels; the kitchen is roomy (who doesn't want to cook while looking at the ocean???). We enjoyed it thoroughly.

Beautiful property

The property couldn't have been more beautiful. Everything was great, clean, well laid out. Great neighborhood. My only complaint is that it's been 2.5 weeks and I still haven't received the required hefty deposit back after multiple calls and follow ups. I was waiting to get that resolved before reviewing the property because other than that it was perfect. TREE Real Estate please look into this and make it right and I will be happy to update this review. *UPDATE* I called the main line and got the refund back. I would recommend the property but be sure to follow up for your deposit. Be aware, there are 5 twin sized beds, bunk beds and two queens. So if you have tall people in your party, this is something to consider. There was ample parking for multiple vehicles. Also, be aware it gets warm inside the house in the mornings, the sun shines right in and there are no window shades, shutters, etc.
